"my mom spent the last year fighting this disgusting disease and my dad was there every moment, he would not leave her alone for a moment and he loved her and he took care of her and he's heroic."

color used by advocates to raise awareness about brain cancer. truckee police department concluded the search for a second missing canoer at donner lake yesterday. officials say they have recovered both bodies. the two men were reported missing at around 5 o'clock friday.. at the north-eastern corner of donner lake. friends of the men... who were all vacationing in the area... saw the canoe had capsized and called police. on saturday, police recovered the body of 33-year-old joshua patterson... of cool, california. at around noon yesterday, the body of 34-year-old lucas johnson... of auburn, california... was recovered. authorities say the men were not believed to have been wearing life jackets at the time. let's check in with meteorologist jeff martinez for a first look at the weather. good morning, jeff! partly cloudy and mild today with highs in the mid to upper

welcome back. looking to our community now... saturday... the boys and girls club hosted the 36-th annual cioppino feed and auction. it raises nearly fifteen percent of the club's annual operating budget. many families, who come from reno, donated items for the drawings... "so many people that are reno people that give of themselves and give so much here that night." nearly 600 items were raffled and auctioned off. last year, the club raised just over 1 million dollars for the boys and girls club, and they

and another annual tradition took place the same day at the livestock events center... the 65th annual doctor's wives rummage sale. it started back in 19-51, to provide a scholarship to help with a nurses' shortage. as the event grew, it expanded to help many other medically- related, non-profit organizations in washoe county. publicity chair rene rores said she has been doing this for 30 years. "i just felt this was an important thing to be doing. i'm married to a physician, knowing that you do need the nurses to help the physicians." the event draws more than two thousand people. many of them started lining up five hours
