project. ktvu's christien kafton is live with more on skyline stables. >> well, take a look behind me barn here's at skyline stable are perfectly sixiated between branches of earthquake faults on the peninsula. so now the public utilities commission is saying these barns have to go to make way for a new emergency water system. christian hanson and woody have called the skyline stables in millbrae home for five years, but in a matter of months, the barn here will be just a memory. >> we're pretty much the last stables out here, and once we're gone, you know, the stables aren't going to come back. >> reporter: the san francisco public utiliti commission is finalizing seismic upgrades, scheduled to be completed in 2015. the new $250 million project includes a reservoir and emergency power generation plant, the budge of those new facilities will have to be located oat the site that puc

francisco police, chp officers pulled over bus as random to the muni yard on powell street. they checked the mechanics of the bus as well as the driver's licenses and company record. out of 41 random inspections today, officers took four buses out of service. the tour bus crash in monterey county killed five people and in a n-march a bus lost its brakes on a san francisco hill. mone was hurt in that mishap. still ahead on ktvu news at 6:00, the designers behind this product
