we're live, 9news sports santa clara. >> reporter: things got a little juicy on the final day of media availability and perhaps a little feud developing between broncos wide receiver and outspoken panthers corner back josh norman. he is on opening night, but he's also one of the best corners in the league. he calls himself attack technician and referenced all the tools that make him so good. last night in the broncos huddle emmanuel sanders didn't want to hear about any of them. >> for the whole week i've been getting stuff josh norman questions, josh norman, josh norman. he's a good player and it's going to be a battle, but at the end of the day, man, let's just get the fight started. the big story is on him. that's the reason why. he's a talker and he loves to talk, but at the end of the day i'm not a talker. play ball.

the guy other than seeing him on sunday. i don't even know if i will be. so i guess that's why he's doing all the talking. i'm not hearing much. so that's a good thing. >> it is on, i guess. after three straight days of answering questions from sports reporters the broncos caught a break today. 9news sports reporter rod mackey has that story. >> reporter: the first time during super bowl week peyton manning was not the biggest stars in the room. one of the guys asking questions was, ram artist snoop dogg. >> for this big game here is it fair to say you're getting advice from archie and eli? >> well, snoop, i've always enjoyed my conversations. >> reporter: snoop was certainly a hit as he made his way through the players. >> that was cool, man, snoop dogg in the flesh, man, for real. >> you know i'm proud of you,
5:21 pm
>> that would be great. >> reporter: but the bronco who knows the rammer best is the one who used to -- rapper best is the one who used to play for him. ronnie hillman was on snoop's youth football team. compare snoop's coaching style to kubiak's coaching style? >> i don't think kubiak is dancing after a touchdown. you might get a raised hand. i don't think he's giving the whole dance and celebrating. so i think that's probably the major -- he's a little bit more loose with it. >> i celebrate, baby. i'm more into the game than the kids are. you know what i'm saying. it's like a celebratory thing. i feel the kids reflect the energy the coach brings to them on a lower level. up top you don't have to do, that but when you're dealing with kids, you got to give them the energy they're searching for. >> reporter: did you know way back when ronnie was special? >> i knew he was special. he worked different and played different and you could see the smile on his face he was going to get somewhere in his life
5:22 pm
>> reporter: he certainly has. rod mackey, 9news. >> you can tell the reporters and photographers are probably running out of questions to ask because as you probably saw in that video, all the cameras were following snoop as opposed to any of the broncos players this morning. >> snoop youth football league, very popular in southern california, out for about a dozen years now. they tried to expand to colorado and it was a total disaster. there were no fields, no referees, uniforms were the wrong sizes. they canceled the season about
