defense -- >> von miller. >> and we hope that mr. b is comfortable, and he was able to enjoy. >> enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. take a look at sky 9 over lodo, that has been the epicenter of motion of the festivities. as people poured out of the bars in celebration. with the exception of one incident about 15 minutes ago, when our crews saw people lighting fireworks and setting street. we haven't seen a ton of widespread misbehavior. police are limiting vehicle access to downtown. there are a lot of cars there, they want to get them safely out, so asking people not to drive downtown. there are long lines on i-25, because people are not aware of that. there will be a parade tuesday, so keep that in mind. during the game, denver police gave us a look in the op center, where they keep an eye on the

they said they looked back at issues that denver has had following previous championships. and they're trying to learn from those experiences. among other things, some tactics they're willing to share, the fact they ask bars to switch to plastic cups so the glass couldn't be used as weapons. and places with outdoor furniture, to who can it down. >> to lock it down. >> and celebrating from the tavern at 20th and market. >> reporter: hey, guys, i want you to look at 20th and market. this is the epi under of the ex--- epicenter of the excitement. we've seen chanting, people celebrating the big super bowl win. what we are not seeing is what

broncos won the super bowl, people flipping cars, we're not seeing that. that's what the denver police were hoping we would see, just people celebrating having a good time, being on good behavior. they have -- police have knocked off 20th and -- marked off 20th and market so people can celebrate. they will start working to disperse the crowd, but meanwhile, police are lining the intersections, making sure it didn't get too unresultly. about 15, 20 minutes ago, we saw a few people inside crowd set off some kind of fireworks, you could imagine the police weren't too happy about that. we're not sure where the source of that came from, but we've really not seen any big issues. that's a good thing, because there's a lot of excitement, lot of people that have been sort of engaging in spirits all day, and you hope that nothing bad, too bad happens. again, 20th and market. lot of people are excited, and yeah, things are going well i

to thank them for the world championship. this has been a thrilling day for fans to watch history in the making. not only for peyton manning, but for the organization, but we heard so much throughout the lobby, throughout the day, and tonight, we're so happy for peyton manning, people say they wanted this to be his year. i want you to meet somebody, josh? you just got back from the stadium. people just walking back from the stadium. and i thought that he took this to a whole another level. this is pretty inventive. >> thank you, thank you very much. we earned it as a team. it's everybody. >> reporter: you actually add something each game. what do you add for super bowl win? >> right here. the golden ticket. and this right here. >> reporter: all right, all right, we're going to send it back to you guys.

it seems that most people stayed at the ski areas until after the game. tonight, a different scene, people heading home from the parties, a few heading downtown to join the parties. denver police have been keeping cars from getting off at 20th 20th to head into the lodo area, they are having a handful of arrests. police are making sure that things stay a party, and don't start out in jail for some people on that monday morning. more than 100 million people are expected to tune into the game, as the commercials, just as entertaining. this year, ads going for $5 million for 30 seconds.

favorites, some companies that might as well shouldn't have. >> reporter: people who use our app, and came to our website could see that we had a vote going, so top one was the sofi ad, couple others were the doritos ad, and actually, that's common. lot of times, advertisers will put the ads up before the game, and get more people to watch. and we wept to twitter to get a blueprint, what got you excited, what turned you off. some were funny, others were a little weird. >> i might just chill tonight. >> puppy monkey baby. >> this was probably one of the weird dells ad, you -- weird he is ads, but it was trending on

tweets, using the #puppymonkeybaby, the midsection of a monkey, top of a puppy, and bottom of a baby. some people said that creature was a nightmare, others said they loved the ad. >> oh, no, the car! >> if i had a dollar for every time this has happened, i would be so rich. this slap stick cubs and robbers ad shows a group of criminals steal a prius, the ad follows robbers on the cross country chase from the police. they said they were proud they stole the prius. this is one of the most expensive ads, 90 seconds. adele, each 30 second block was

this ad going for $15 million. >> whoa! listen, folks. i have for follow guys, again. -- i have to apologize, again. steve harvey making fun of the flub when he mistakenly announced the wrong miss universe. this got almost 90,000 tweets about his ad, calling adele the best ad of the entire game. >> okay. right there, ready. >> over here. what's up, ma'am? i like your style. >> this one is actually not trending, but we had to show some love to the denverite. it features an actor, tj miller who grew up in denver. and adele, i know you this well, he graduated from east high school.

most think he's going to retire. >> peyton manning is the first quarterback to play multiple super bowls with different teams. manning was 34 of 49 against the seahawks. as you remember, it didn't turn out well for denver. tonight, however, the quarterback did what he had to do to help the team win. he was sacked five times. kudos to the defense, cam newton was sacked 7. i just see somebody, that is such a real story, sure, he gets paid millions to play football, but who doesn't over the course of there career have to adapt to things, and peyton manning has succeeded with all of his tools, and he succeeded with diminished tools. >> and he is willing to say that

team that won the super bowl. >> he knows it. it's a beautiful evening to spends with thousands of your friends, neighbors and total strangers on the streets of lodo, kathy. a bit brisk. >> i'm going for a forecast low of 18. so it will be a very cold night. and have a bright orange dress under this coat, in case you wonder about my broncos spirit. it was a mazing day and night. so many of you sharing wonderful sunset pictures. so much beautiful color in the sky. it was cooler today, weak front crossing northeastern colorado. temperatures into the 30s and lower 40s, so a little cooler than average, but that's going to change tomorrow, at the airport, right now, winds are light. 15 degrees, windchill of minus 1 here in the backyard, clear and cold, 19 degrees outside the studios, and we're watching an area of low pressure that's spinning outside the state's border, but the back edge has
10:23 pm
this area of low pressure spinning near minneapolis may bring in blizzard conditions near omaha. this is the outer fringe of an arctic air mass, that is just going to miss colorado. we are right on the western fringe of it. not a lot of snow coming over the next few days, and so the snow pack numbers, while above average, may slide just a little bit, but i think you won't mind a break from the cold and snow. look at the moisture wrapping around the low in the midwest, which is pulling in some bitter cold air from the north. for colorado, high pressure is the dominant weather feature that, will keep the storm track to the north, and bring us a beautiful weather partnership, highs will be close to 50 tomorrow, but on the fringe of that cold air. wind shift from the south, other than a few high clouds and brief snow shower to north, a quiet weather pattern. cold, single digits, teens in the high country, mid-teens for low elevations, including the
10:24 pm
temperatures rebound tomorrow, but tomorrow, the coolest day of the extended period, and that's chose to 50. i think -- close to 50. i think you're going to like the numbers. so, downtown denver area, for tonight, winds are light, it's cold, and skies are clear. winds are lighter, which is a good thing, we drop to the number 18. of course we will! tomorrow, we start at 18, jump to the mid-40s, close to 50. i don't know that well will get there with the -- that we'll get there with the snow. a weak front, above average for thursday, close to 60, friday and saturday. next storm i'm tracking, not until a week from today! and even that one not that certain. so hopefully, we get rid of some of the snow and ice around the area, and you can continue to send me your beautiful sunrise and sunset shots.
