minutes of pointing fingers and accusations - the debate was, whatal most expected it to be. hillary clinton and donald trump took their final fight to las vegas wednesday night. they fought on many issues -- but did agree on one... the election is being manipulated. they just had different thoughts on who was doing the manipulating. trump claims the election is rigged against him -- and he refused to say if he would accept the election results in november. trump said he'll wait to decide in suspense.' he pointed out three things he said shows election rigging -- millions of voters who shouldn't be voting, clinton being quote 'crooked,' and the media. hillary clinton

only because it isn't going his way. but she did say someone is having a hand in the election who shouldn't -- russian president vladimir putin. clinton blamed russian hacking for the wikileaks emails -- and called trump a quote 'puppet' of putin. trump responded by sayin he also said he doesn't know putin and he isn't a friend.

-- which the candidates do not aggree on trump continued his tough talk on mexico -- reaffirming the building of a wall. at one point he used the phrase "bad hombraes" - a disparaging discription. but clinton says trump's immigration policies would quote 'rip our country apart.' trump fought right back. finger pointing is does get difficult to weed through all their claims. fact checkers had a very busy night. 9news reporter andrew sotensen says when it comes to immigration policy, some things

there certainly was a lot of finger pointing last night. our research team has been doing the work to sort out fact from fiction. clinton and trump hit a lot of the key themes of this election-- guns, immigration, abortion, and each others' records. let's start out with immigration... trump was quick to bring up his "wall" idea between us and mexico. we've found that's mostly true. clinton did vote for more border protections, including a barrier... but it was more like a fence. during the debate, she made the point that undocumented immigrants pay taxes. you can imagine that's tough to measure because they are undocumented. we did some digging

taxation and economic policy estimates about half to 70 percent of undocumented immigrants do pay taxes. we're going to be fact-checking more topics throughout the morning. on the local level... 9news will be hosting one more debate -- the race for the sixth congressional district seat between republican congressman mike coffman and his democratic opponent morgan carroll. the debate airs tonight at seven o'clock on channel 20. the family of a school bus driver killed in a crash, and the families of everyone on that bus - may never have the answers they are looking for. police can't say why it happened. denver police released their final report on the legacy bus crash that happened at d- i-a last month, and video of it. after looking at all factors -- they say they can't find any definite evidence to prove how it happened. no mechanical problems, no bad weather, no drugs or alcohol involved... three coaches and 15 student athletes were hurt. the bus driver, kari

it's something parents, teachers, and classmates never want to see -- a student bringing a gu s week at a colorado high school -- and now that 15-year- old is facing charges. colorado springs police say a school resource officer at mitchell high school was able to find the weapon quickly though. the student is now in the spring creek youth detention center. officers say there is no threat to the school -- and they're still investigating. "daddy bruce" started his thanksgiving food basket giveaway in 1964. and the 52-year-old tradition needs some help this year. the annual denver feed-a-family thanksgiving distribution is facing funding challenges. especially because there's been an increased demand for food -- 50- thousand people in denver are facing food insecurity. each year, the group gives out more than 350- thousand pounds of food in thanksgiving baskets. so this morning -- organizers are

mosul from three sides. iraq's military is leading the fight -- with support from u-s aircraft and artillery. elite special forces have also joined the offensive. military generals say troops found tunnels outside of mosul -- making them believe isis was prepared for

their path though. u-s general gary vole-sky tells us though despite those worries -- they're seeing progress. some isis leaders are leaving the city. mosul is iraq's second largest city. the u-n warns a first wave of 200- thousand people could be displaced a 72-hour ceasefire has started in yemen. the deal followed days of fighting in northern yemen -- where a saudi-led coalition helped rebel forces' take their stronghold saada. the ceasefire could be renewed once the 72 hours is up. a north korean missile test has failed once again. it happened around seven this morning korean time. the u-s strategic command said the detected it in the northwest part of

the u-s strongly condemns the failed launch -- and wants to talk with the united nations about holding the republic of korea reponsible. a vigil will be held today for the woman who was shot to death by police in new york to deborah danner's home tuesday after a neighbor reported a disturbance. the sergeant who shot the 66-year- old said she was naked and armed with scissors -- and later charged at him with a baseball bat. the city's police commissioner has said officers failed to follow protocol. new york city mayor bill de blasio is calling the shooting tragic, and unacceptable. in california -- the deputy killed in an officer involved shooting is identified as this man -- jack hopkins.

northern california held a procession for the 31-year-old last night -- driving their patrol cars throguh the streets with their lights and sirens on. deputies say the 31-year-old was shot and killed during a domestic disturbance call. it happened right near the border of oregon. leaders got the suspect in custody a short time later. hopkins is the fourth law enforcement officer to die in the line of duty in california -- in the last two weeks. as the legalization of marijuana spreads from state to state -- so is the diversity of people getting involved...in the converstation the group that's now dipping into the pot industry, coming up. but first let's check in with marty for your forecast... wells fargo is now

attorney general -- she's leading a criminal investigation into the company's sales practices. it is part of the growing fallout from bank employ million accounts without custmer's approval. it was to meet sales goals. the department of justice released a search warrant yesterday -- looking the names of customers who had accounts opened, the employees who did it, and their managers. business owners are replacing idealists in the pot-legalization movement. the supporters of legalizing the drug is no longer limited to a few wealthy people whoant it for personal reasons.

all he ever wanted to do was play baseball -- and now harrison spiers, or 'h-man,' can say he has. harrison has a genetic disorder similar to cerebral palsy. the 17-year-old aurora grandview high school senior asked for someone to help him hit the ball. his friends at the church of jesus christ of latter day saints stepped up to the plate. they modified a clay pigeon thrower to hold a bat. and just like that, he was able to hit a now, harrison is hoping to qualify to play in a more competitive league -- since he's now able to hit a pitched ball. his parents tell us he insisted on wearing a helmet and cleats during wednesday's game.
