we have seen light showers and a couple of random lightning strikes in the higher rain north of steam boat springs this morning. one or two brief lightning strikes as well. for us during the day, we'll see showers developing in the northern and central mountains. during the evening tonight, very light rain possible in a few select locations here over the front range. i mean, extremely light. it's not going toy change your out -- going to change your outlook on moisture temperatures 60s to near 70 degrees. windiest conditions along and east of i-25 during the morning. they should slack off a built during the late afternoon and this evening as well. thank you marty. we did have a problem across the eastern plains. windier conditions are expected. that across i-70 near strasbourg. highway reopened. both have traffic getting through. volume has not impacted anyone

into his business ties overseas. he was reportedly paid 13 million dollars in cash by pro russian politicians in ukraine. manafort told nbc news, he has no links to russia. 5:34, many lawmakers pledge not to vote for or endorse donald trump in this election. some ended up voting for him any way. ohio governor john kasich looks to be a man of his word. he voted absentee ballot monda mccain. kasich ended his own campaign for gop nomination in may. the ohio governor had been intent staying in the race as the lone alternative to donald trump but trailed by nearly 900 delegates. early voting is underway in colorado and 37 states. in states like colorado, nevada, florida one-third or more of the suspected ballots have already been sent in.

robbers had handguns. the three have been charged in this robbery along with attempted murder. we'll keep you posted on their court appearance today. a fort collins couple is on kyle for abusing their 7-year-old daughter. opening statements were given yesterday. prosecutors argue that doug and leah dire didn't properly care for their daughter taken from the home in 2013 when she was not able to speak she was diagnosed with a seizure disorder so the couple's attorney blames the doctors for waking matthew the parents knew how to treat the condition. closing arguments are scheduled for next week. the medical examiner is looking into reports of the shooting that happened. 27-year-old orlando jackson and 34-year-old terrence ashley both

critical condition. one of the victim's family members said someone showed up at a family halloween party and started shooting. denver police haven't arrested anyone yet. investigators know who put nail boards along a biking trail. the department of land management said it was isolated this vandalism on the informal trail. it was a one mile trail section. trai usuly.no bikes on that they have not named the person they s anyone. boy, that was so dangerous. we wondered who in the world would do that? >> hopefully we'll learn soon. around here this morning, partly cloudy and dry to start your day. we do anticipate moving into the upper 60s this afternoon. then at sunset or little after, clouds thicken. we'll begin to see a few light showers just a couple spots. don't anticipate much rain.

. a woman from denver 37-year-old red fawn fallis pulled a gun on officers and fired three shots. she's charged with attempted murder as well as other charges. she was protesting the pipeline last thursday, part of a group officers were trying to get off private land. officers didn't return fire. she faces 20 years in prison. police in north dakota have arrested her twice before, back
