opener against jackson state.... that has not happened....yester day afternoon he said we will see both johnny stanton and kurt palandech in the 1st half of the opener... why did he say.. well because at yesterday's second and final scrimmage of fall camp.. neither q-b was able to separate themselves from one another... it was all about the big play on friday.. and most of them went the way of the defense.... none were bigger.. or worse right here....depending on which side of the ball you were cheering for.. darius mouton picks off palandech in the endzone. it 101 yards for six..... coach sanchez says he loves the competition.. but scrimmages are tough days for a head coach... "your defense gets a pick, is that exciting yeah, but if youre on the offsensive side no, one side does good the other side struggles, then you see the opposite, the offense has a long drive and a touchdown, so you wanyt some give and take because you don't want on side of the ball dominating more than the other, that's why scrimmages are such a funny thing for coaches, especially head coaches, you want to see th defense have succes and the offense have success." the rebels are off tomorrow..
