drone pilot exam under new federal rules. emily schmidt reports from washington on the lowered bar for getting a license - to get those higher views from the sky. the buzz of drones carries beyond their mechanical noise. as unmanned aircraft systems give us a different perspective of the world than ever before. from the rubble of an italian earthquake, to the devastation of a midwest tornado, to the idea of getting a pizza to drop in, as domino's demonstrated last week in new zealand. we just successfully delivered the first pizza in the world. facebook founder mark zuckerberg says drones have such a potential to connect the world he gave a model to the pope when meeting him monday. and drones' popularity is not lost on the federal aviation administration (anthony foxx, u.s. transportation secretary) over the next ten years, commercial, unmanned aircraft systems could generate more than $82 billion for the u.s. economy, and by 2025, could be supporting as many

before monday, anyone wanting a commercial drone license from the f.a.a. needed a pilot's license, something that could be time and money consuming. (brian walk, drone pilot) $20 thousand at a minimum. new f.a.a. rules lower that bar: commercial drone pilots must pass an aeronautical exam; drones must be under 55 pounds; stay in view of the operator; and they can't fly higher than 400 feet; and if you want to fly at night, you'll need a waiver. (steve cohen, drone consultant) there's going to be tens of thousands of people who are going to be legal to fly. the f.a.a. says the changes could open up opportunities from rescues, to inspecting utility lines, to helping farmers check their crops -- with the sky no longer the limit in an industry almost unimaginable just a few years ago. in washington, i'm emily schmidt. are the new rules a good idea? fox five legal analyst bob massi joins us now for "inside the law". closed captioning

cyber threat. a lobster bought from a massachusetts fish market for 210-dollars... and set free by two brothers who didn't want it to become someone's dinner....has apparently died. chris and david schmidt bought the 22-pound lobster and released it thursday in the waters off chatham. they dubbed the crustacean big lobi after boston red sox star david ortiz - whose nickname is big papi. the cape cod a local retiree found a dead 22- pound lobster in the same area on saturday. experts say it appears to be the same one. the center for coastal studies says lobsters live in deep, cold water - and the shallows where big lobi was released were likely too warm. now fox5 weather 24/7, with chief meterologist ted pretty

to fly. which company is offering monthly payments of airline tickets to travelers. busted!!! a black bear caught red- handed trying to a steal a bird feeder. it happened in goffstown, new hampshire. "hey... no,no,no...hey... this stays here." as you can see... after a mild scolding from the homeowner - the bear dropped the feeder. the animal stood motionless for awhile but eventually snacked on some seeds in the driveway. wildlife officials
