"notwithstanding her allegation that she was choked, dragged down the hallway from the garage, thrown down on the couch and she was wearing a necklace at the time, there was no visible injury on her jaw, no visible injury on her neck, or anywhere of the sort. according to warren geller.. the couple had argued over a home downpayment and with the relationship ending, the only way ryan could recoup her money was to show burt was no longer working. "she admitted on cross examination that she saw an attorney and the attorney's advice was that if jimmy were terminated, and metro generated a letter to that effect, it would be helpful in her recouping that money. burt's legal troubles may be over, but that doesn't mean the department will welcome him back anytime soon. metro fired burt after similar allegations from his former wife in 2011 .. even after the charges were dropped. his union got his job back then, and it'll be up to them to do it a second time. geller says he'll be there to assist and believes his client deserves another chance.
