fox 5's kathleen jacob joins us live with the details in this case... kathleen... what have we learned? guys... we know a 17-year-old came forward to police yesterday. she said a man that works as a special needs teacher's assistant for the nye county school district sexually assaulted her. after investigating...poli ce say this man...28-year-old jose manuel bautista... used social media to have racey conversations with the 17-year- old before taking her to his home. they say that's where he sexually assualted her... and they also say he was on drugs at the time. bautista did admit to detectives that he engaged in sexual misconduct with the student. police searched his home and found evidence to support this...but because the investigation is ongoing... they wouldn't tell us what exactly that evidence is. they were also unable to tell us if the 17-year-old was a student that he worked with specifically. he was arrested and booked into the nye county detention center on five charges including sexual assault, child sexual abuse, unlawful sexual

were out of session today... in a special meeting on the future of an n-f-l stadium here in las vegas. fox5 sports director kevin bolinger has been following the special session in carson city. he shows us what was done today, and what we can expect tomorrow. it's been a quiet day here on the capitol grounds as lawmakers are off for the jewish holiday. but there was still a lot of work being done behind the scenes to get ready for the gavel to drop again on thursday. all with the ultimate goal of ending up in this building behind me, the state capitol, and inside the governor's office so he can potentially sign senate bill 1 and assembly bill 1 into law. nats of senate vote when the state senate passed the stadium and convention center bill early tuesday
