" that is the only way for me to fall asleep, is to tell myself it never happened... i didn't hear anything no one has said anything. when i wake up in the morning i just cry" the family and friends of 22 year old kaji goode are in a state of shock. " theyre our family,

whole situation, were numb" the woman they knew and loved is gone... she died after being shot several times ... and police arrested her boyfriend for the crime. " as a future son in law i entrusted him with the life of my daughter, and for him to take my childs life its beyond me, i can't fathom it" police say ivan cotton called them saturday night saying his girlfriend had shot herself... " this is not the kind of person who is going to commit suicide, as the lie she told 911 operators" cotton told police to handcuff him, he reportedly said " if she's dead take me to jail" he also said she was pregnant .. both kaji's family and his say they never saw any red flags pointing to abuse in the relationship.
