good evening everyoyoe, i'm ron steele. and i'm amanda goodman. thanks for joining us. we're learning more about the two suspects killld following yesterday's mass shooting in san bernardino, california. the shooting at a social services facility killed 14 and injured 21 more. you can see some of the aftermath here -- people being loloded into ambulances on stretchers. emergency responders helping people struggling to walk due to their injuries. swat teams later surrounding black s-u-v -- wherr the suspects were reportedly shot and killed. you can see some of the evidence markers and debris here. authorities say both suspects were armed with assault rifles and handguns, dressed in "assault-style" clothing. they are identified as syed farook and his wife tashfeen malik. jinah gray has more toniit.25 nat singing

bernardino came together to grieve tonight. for the 14 moms, dads, sons and daughters who were killed, for the 21 people rt or clinging to life. for the children and families affected by the worst shooting lighting, president obama said the nation grieves with them. stormtrack 7 weather team: very nicc temperatures ahead for december standards. here are a look at the high temperatures from today. we were in the 40s for the western portions of the viewing area. but with clouds we were stuck in the 30s. storm m track 7 liviv weather network in dubuque shows pretty quiet conditions, but there is a bit of fog being reported at the airport with reduced visibility, so we will see some patchy fog overnight that could tonight we will have a clear sky. we'll talk more about the above average temperatures coming up in a few minutes, when the iowa hawkeyes take the field at lucas oil stadium in indianapolis saturday, thousands of black and gold clad fans will

the university saying they've sold all ten thousand tickets many of those fans making the roughly six hour trip between now and saturday morning. kwwl's brad hanson caught up with quite a few of them in the dubuque area today and joins us live now from the t-h-hmedia newsroom with a lot of hawkeye fans telling me todaythat this trip is almost necessary, because it's hard to tell when they'll be back in this position again. they're ready to make their presence known in indy this doug althaus and his family have been life long hawkeye fans. (doug althaus, hawkeye fan) "this has been the season i've been waiting my whole life for. it'llllprobably never happen again, i hope it does, but it's exciting." doug and his wife will make the trip to indy tomorrow, but they'll have to leave the boys at home. (nathan althaus, hawkeye fan) "oh, i really wish i could, but i still get to watch the game at least. and it'll be fun. hopefully they can beat michigan state." meanwhile, carl schwendinger,,known as the hawkeye poet, has just finished his poem for the

this is making a lot of busness owners hahapy, kwwls olivia manccno joins us live to talk about that. its safe to say nobody likes construction especially people who have to drive in it every day ljs bar and grill has been dealing witit the mess forrthe past two years so you could imagine their streets today. for more than two years, this construction has plagued kimball avenue in waterloo. these never-ending cones lined miles of the road, making the commute difficult and extremely frustrating. but on thursday....that all changed. the cones are off the streets. and nobody is happier than the business owners who line them. "three? you want a booth or a high top? lj's bar and grill is a ten long because the last two years lyle and jan pratt have had to ommute in neon orange gridlock every day. "thank you very much, have a construction hit their business hard. when the construction went up, it was like their first year of

"the second year wasnt as bad becase not as many intersections are closed and stuff but its stil been pretty tough" the pratts says although some customers stayed loyal, it was tough to convince people to drive through the mess, and they don't blame them. what if they pull some cruel joke, and putthe cones back up? crash. it happened on east dunkerton road -- just east of north raymond road in black hawk county. authorities say alexis behrends crossed the centerline -- and collided head-on with a second vehcile. they say the crash could have been caused by icy roads. meanwhile -- funeral arrangements are set for a teen killed in a separate crash. 16-year-old justin shaffer was hit by another car in rural dubuque county after he overcorrected and went into the other lane. visitation and the funeral service is set for sunday deember 6th at the peosta community centre sarting at one o'clock. it's been nearly a week since a local teen went missing. ethan weitzenkamp was last seen on thanksgiving night inhis family'ssome in allison. ethan left a note saying he
