the weather causing some issues on the roads across eastern iowa today... in cedar rapids -- a police squad car was involved in a crash in cedar rapids this morning... here's video of the scene. police say the officer was going to the scene of another crash when the accident happened... the squad car collided on the edgewood road bridge with a jeep cherokee... one officer was hurt and went to the hospital -- police say the injuries are not serious. the first crash that police were called to involved five cars -- in which no one is believed to another accident happened in waterloo... a car rolled over off of greenhill road and the 218 exit ramp in waterloo. police say this was a weather-related accident. the driver hit an icy patch. officers say only one passenger had minor injuries. the car. a woman is now facing charges nearly seven months after a child died at a waterloo daycare... yesterday -- officers arrested amy hangartner following the

harrelson... the boy died in june after being placed in an infant car seat by "child endangerment resulting in death." a kwwl follow-up. two eastern iowa officers are cleared after a deadly shooting. the cedar rapids officers shot and killed jonathan gossman last year. they fired 25 shots after gossman allegedly left the scene of a traffic stop and pointed a gun at one of them. investigators later fouund in his car -- which was stolen. an autopsy also showed he had meth and other drugs in his system. the linn county attorney's office says they were acting in self elsewhere... an iowa town is down to just one police officer -- who only works part- time. four full-time melcher-dallas officers abruptly resigned night.... city leaders refused to say what led to the resignations. last night the council held a meeting to discuss what the next

isis has claimed responsibility for a four-hour siege in the country's capital today that killed seven people, including five attackers... kelly cobiella has more... for hours this morning, downtown jakarta's shopping district was a battlefield with at least two explosions this one outside a starbucks... and bullets flying between police and five gunmen. it started at ten in the morning as people were heading to work. security cameras showed morning crowds scattering in fear. this, close to the presidential palace, the us embassy and the united nations. police said the attackers had guns, grenades, windows but incredibly, the company says only one customer was injured and all of its employees are safe. at least seven are dead this morning, including some of the gunmen. and isis is claiming responsibility saying the targets were foreigners... and the security services who

the president reminded the crowd about the long streak of job growth in the country... he's speaking in baton rouge today... a t-v station doesn't go far to get video of a police chase. the suspect stopped her car right outside the station... this happening in montana... a woman was seen driving recklessly. she wouldn't pull over. k-e-c-i tv security cameras show the woman try to get into their building. she couldn't -- and then tried to get back into her car. police surrounded her car and arrested her. officers say she might've been drunk. another dramatic chase in oklahoma.... sheriffs deputies chasing a truck reaching speeds of over 100 miles an hour. at one point the truck started going the wrong way on the interstate to get away. that's when deputies decide to spin the car out.
