sheriff fisher tells me- the little girl should have never been alone in the car with tackett, whom was a registered sex offender. and fisher says, the little girl's momoher knew that..ut still a terrible accident..killing james tackett, the driver, and injuring a 5 scene with only bumps and bruises.. fayette county sheriff marty fisher says..it's only because she was strapped into a booster seat. south grandview in dubuque. while searching the suv driven by brandenburg -- galena police found the illegal dugs. brandenburg had a warrent out for her arrest. a cold case involving a deadly fire in 2006 is reopened. 28-year-old christopher yenger and 27-year-old zacharr dye are arrested as suspects for a fire killing two ottumwa residents. both men are being charged with two coots of first-ddgree murder. court records say both pleaded not guilty and are scheduled for a court hearing on february first. with less than a week until the iowa caucuses -- there's a hard push to get candidate support from all candidates - including the front runners. we bring in team seven coverage now... kwwl's amanda goodman is live at a campaign event for hillary clinton in

the bulls were too shy to pick a democrat the cedar rapids community schol district isconsidering a schedule change for next hool year. the change woull give students a late start every monday, to give teachers time for professional development. kwwl's kristin rogers spoke with the school board president, john laverty today, kristin why are they considering this? & ron he told me research has shown them a more regglar and consistent time for teachers to gather together can benefit them, and allow them to learn from each other. right now, cedar rapids teachers don'tget that time on a consistent schedule like he plan would provide. the plan would desginate a regular time for professional development each week. the board discussd the proposal bt last night's meeting, but many parents weren't too fond of the idea of having a late start every week. board members say they would be sure to offer supervised care for students at the normal school time, but parents are conserned about
