the announcement leaving his supporters divided. many of the people i talked to here supported the decision- - saying there have been plenty of other debates for voters to make a concerning and makes them question their vote. "that is great. they are going to have terrible ratings. you watch. or they are going to fold and they are going to get rid of the debate and stick it out because there is always going to be he is not going to like. now others said the same thing. there will be lots of people he won't get along with as president and he can't just refuse to work with them.

temperatures to drop into the teens. wednesday starts out with 40 or low 40s. dry weather continues through saturday. say former iowa hawkeye football star and superbowl winner tyler sash had c-t-e -- according to multiple reports. c-t-e is a brain disease caused by repeated trauma to the head. it's been found in dozens of former n.f.l. players. police say tyler's mother, barnetta, found his body on the couch in the living room of their home in oskaloosa in september of last year. the iowa office of the state medical examiner says sash died from

powerful pain medications. doctors grade c.t.e. on a severity scale from zero to four. they say sash was at stage two when he died. charges are now filed in a deadly crash that killed a local man. here's a look at the aftermath of the crash in clermont. authorities say 38-year-old james tackett died at the scene -- and they say alcohol may have been a factor. a five-year-old girl was in the backseat at the time -- but is expected to be ok. investigators say she was the daughter of tackett's girlfriend -- 27- year-old hilary upton. they say upton knowingly let her daughter be alone with tackett-- a registered sex offender upton is now charged with child endangerment. but fayette county sheriff marty fisher says the girl should have never been alone with sheriff "we are always concerned about children who are involved in situations or put into situations like this and if the

fisher says the little girl is alive today because she was strapped into her booster seat. he says if she was sitting anywhere else in the back seat- she would have been severly injured. two people are arrested and charged with murder in a local cold case. 28-year-old christopher yenger and 27-year-old zachary dye each charged with two counts of first degree murder. authorities say the two started a fire that killed two people in wapello county in 2006. the two victim's are 20-year-old nathan messer and 22-year-old seth anderson of ottumwa. the case was reopened this month after authorities learned about a fight at the home shortly before the fire. drivers will be happy to know low gas prices aren't going anywhere anytime soon -- according to

gas prices seen as low as a dollar and 66 cents a gallon in parts of eastern iowa right now. experts say the fuel prices should stay below three dollars throughout the year. and drivers are excited to see the low numbers at the pump. one of the occupiers was killed after a shootout with police following a traffic stop. six people were arrested in all -- including the group's leader ammon bundy. investigators plan to charge all the men with a federal felony charge of conspiracy to impede officers from discharging their official duties. police are looking for one of two suspects involved in a shooting at a barber shop. you can see the two masked and armed suspects come into the shop in columbia, south carolina. that's when two people inside -- both with concealed permits -- shot at the suspects -- hitting one of them. the suspect ran outside before collapsing. he was taken to a local hospital --where he later died. one witness says it was a scene chauncy harris / witness "there was hollering and shoot me in the back of the head my hands up. and he said get down again and smacked me in the back of my
