32-year-old chad little now charged with first degree murder and child endangerment in the death of gracie buss his fiance --31- year-old kristi buss is charged with child endangerment resulting in death. her daughter gracie died a few days after she was found unconscious in their home last year. the autopsy showed gracie died of severe head trauma. buss is in the black hawk county jail on a 75- thousand-dollar bond. little -- who was already in cus correctional facility to the black hawk county jail yesterday. police are investigating after an 18-year-old is stabbed and killed. the victim found-- at the reserve apartments in the 67 hundred block of college park court southwest in cedar rapids around two yesterday morning. the victim's friends say--he showed up at the apartment they were at--with a stab wound in "he um, beg...he kept begging to, praying like he would live like he was like please don't

continuing coverage of the 2016 floods. here's a look at cedar falls earlier this week from our kwwl drone. you can see parts of the area... underwater after the cedar river crested. the floods cause a local campground to close for the season a few weeks earlier than planned. water now covers most of miller riverview park in dubuque. the park was scheduled to close in late october, but the city says it wouldn't be worth it. the pa d (steve fehsal, park division manager) "it's normally spring, early summer flooding. there has to close the campground, similar to labor day, but to have this much water at this time of year for this amount of time, is definitely unusual." the city says they will issue full refunds to anyone who had booked through the end of the season. it's the first day of a very scary

down.. as many as 4 hundred 30 members of the guard served throughout eastern iowa during the flooding. this is video of the guard landing in greene earlier this week.. a big thank you for their service keeping us safe this week..and to all the volunteers. it's been amazing to see people come together in a time of need.. waterloo firefighters have some new technology that let's them respond to people faster. through a 20- thousand dollar grant -- the fire department was able to buy 1 hundred 34 of them to people who have trouble moving around. the fire captain says it allows them to get to people in their homes -- without breaking down to max and helen guernsey foundation for making this happen. and knox provided a discount on each and every one of these units." captain harter says the fire department plans to hand out the boxes the third week in october.

the riverloop public market co-op in downtown waterloo is shutting down. the city owns the building and is not renewing the lease that expired last month. were told the market had financial difficulties. around 800 people are expected to be at today's 10th annual pink ribbon run. because of recent flooding concerns in cedar falls... the run is now at a new location. it will start at 8 this morning "you know it just shows our resilience that we're willing to number one put on the race adn people just going to roll with it and make the best of it." this event raising money for people with breast cancer . it serves people in the cedar valley and other sorrounding towns. it's coming up on today in iowa... a major storm hits south america

the suspect was in a neighborhood. a swat unit was sent to help find the man. that's when one of the swat "they looked at the picture that they had and looked at this man walking down the street and confirmed it was the guy that they were looking for...the officer saw him pull a gun out of his jacket and put it in his waistband." police chased him into a backyard where they shot him multiple times. no officers were injured. fbi agents search the home the man allegedly behind last month's bombings in new york and new jersey for a second time. agents were at the home last night. it's unclear what law enforcement officials were looking for during the search. the jury for the anthony garcia murder trial was selected yesterday. the nine men and seven women will hear opening statements monday morning. garcia is accused of killing four people, 2 in 2008 and the others in 2013. a texas college student is

resisting arrest.. this is a terrible story this morning: a newborn baby is dead after she was thrown from a second story window. this happening in omaha. the teenager is now in police custody. when medics arrived on the scene- they found a woman holding the child and performing c-p-r. the baby was pronounced dead at a hospital. "it's very sickening, you very... disturbed." a school bus driver is shot in chicago..while driving children home. this happened yesterday. the 31-year old man was driving when a bullet grazed his head. he was taken to a hospital where again, children were on the bus at the time... but thankfully, no other injuries have been reported. a school district in texas is releasing video from inside a
