tonight for the services, jessica? after 75 years in an unmarked grave -- father aloysius schmitt is finally welcomed home to his hometown and his home parish. st. lucas iowa -- home to st. luke's parish -- the church that nearly a hundred years ago fostered the faith of a man who would go on to save lives, to be a hero, but never return home that is until now. coverage. cedar rapids now looking towards preventing any possible future flooding. here's what it looked like just last week. the cedar river flooding parts of downtown --including the newbo area. most businesses and homes did avoid taking on heavy water though --partly thanks to temporary barriers. the city meanwhile is still waiting for about 73-million dollars from the federal government, that money was approved back in 2008 --but never received. mayor ron corbett says now with another round of heavy flooding, he hopes they'll finally see some of that money to work on a more permanent louisianna, earlier before that flooding in west virginia, fires out in california, so you have all these natural disasters that have replaced cedar rapids because ours was eight years ago. this near-miss that we had is a way for us to elevate and get to the top of the list

hit by a freight train. his truck caught fire -- and he was killed at the scene. a young iowa man is arrested in connection to the deaths of his parents. sean freese facing charges of first degree murder. davenport police say they received a report of a shooting and found freese's parents' bodies inside their home. sean was arrested a short time after and remains in the scott county jail tonight. a former iowa substitute teacher and coach pleads not guilty to students. 33-year-old john tietsort, of battle creek, charged with sexual exploitation by a school employee. prosecutors say the two relationships were with an 18-year-old and 17-year-old at two different schools in north west iowa. he was a substitute teacher and assistant football coach at the time. continuing coverage -- a seemingly forever major road

courtney says she will now try to get custody of the kids to take care of them. a boy is recovering after being attacked by a clown. the seven-year- old michigan boy was outside when a man dressed as a clown came up to him and tried to cut him with a knife. the boy rushed home and told his mom --who then called police. justin buechler/ attacked by clown : "he grabbed my wrist. and then two women in the area also reported three clowns walking towards them with baseball bats. there's been some reports of clowns here in eastern iowa --but so far none that are committing any kind of crimes. a garbage truck crashes into a family's home --injuring one
