according to the iowa department of transportation -- more than 40 percent of people killed on iowa roads -- were not wearing seatbelts. hundreds of high school students learning about leadership today. in honor of the late ed thomas. ed thomas was killed seven years ago he was shot and killed in th school weight room the morning of june 24, 2009. the shooter resonsible was mark becker-- someone who played fooball for coach thomas. those who knew and played for coach thomas say he was a staple in the community.. someone anyone, of any age, could look up to. kwwl's taylor bailey at the leadership academy today. taylor? amanda not everyone attending the leadership academy today knew ed thomas personally --but they all can take something from what he believed in.
