"eyewitness news" new jersey reporter cleve bryan talked with that man today and he joins us live from stone harbor manor, cleve. >> reporter: welshing tom graham said it was an adventure being stuck all night on this wave runner but an adventure wow not like to go on again. the battery dead in his wave runner tom graham found himself alone and helpless yesterday afternoon in the winding waterways behind his stone harbor man perfector home. >> i thought would i take a quick spin around the island and take the wave runner out of the water. >> reporter: after cruising, tom cut engine to examine a pile of debris, when he tried to start it backup, nothing happened. the wind began pushing tom, mile after mile, he had no control where he was going. >> it just took me further then i ever dreamed. >> reporter: eventually tom grounded in the marsh but walking proved impossible in the mud. >> i could not get anywhere.

come to an end real soon if you are in delaware county and i will show you why in a moment. lets take you live to neighborhood network whether itfield elementary school parking lot in reading. this is west of reading, one of the parts of the area that has gotten hardest hit with heavy rainfall, currently 68 degrees right there. so lets take a peak how things are shaping up on storm scan three. you can see a lot of rain impacting upstate new york down through carolinas and this area right here is where we are focused on, and delaware, maryland and you can see this batch of heavy rain falling apart a little will bit, it is weakening and moving into very stable air but you can see lancaster county, chester county getting dumped on with rain right now. this area has had heavy rain already today. so we're talking about newark, christian, dover, wilmington, seeing this within the next hour to 45 minutes or so is when downpours will move in but heavy rain is falling in lancaster and chester county. these areas remain, under a

flood advisory. it does now include extreme western chester county and here's what that means areas in the flood advisory expecting more rain and thunder, we have had one to 2 inches and up to 3 inches possible. watch for poor drainage flooding and ponding on the roads. this is area we are talking about here mainly lancaster county and berks county as well over an inch of rain and some spots you can see yoel shading there upwards of 2 inches already and more still to come. future weather timing this out here at 5:00. we are seeing rain at this hour. it will start to fall apart you can see heavy rain in the pocono region. we are seeing heavy downpours embedded within each one of these showers and it will in the clear out quickly. in fact, overnight tonight more rain will lift in perhaps the shore points and again in the city, 4:00 a.m. looking at heavy round of showers before finally by tomorrow morning it starts to clear out but again, tomorrow we are seeing bulk of that system rotate through northeast so a few showers could still impact the area

later tomorrow afternoon. for the rest of this evening high risk of downpours, moderate risk of lightening and wind, low risk for hail and tornadoes. this is a rain event and rain coming down heavily and slowing things down on area roadway. you can see rain cooled air off to the west where temperatures are in the 60's. seventy-two at the airport. all this cooler air is working its way in behind this front in the 60's, state college, pittsburgh, buffalo and over toward cleveland as well. the showers and thunderstorm overnight. heaviest through next several hours but few more waves of showers will come through overnight. for tomorrow partly sunny lingering showers at anytime. one round in the morning and one round in the afternoon. if we are under the influence of that large kaylo pressure system but good news comes for friday and the weekend. friday, saturday lower 07's, sunny beautiful much cooler sunday and monday highs make it to the 50's but still sunny and dry our next chance for a shower comes next tuesday. now back at the desk.

a new type of credit card is coming to america to prevent credit card fraud. take a look, they are called chip cards. europe has been using these for many years, instead of swiping the card with a chip card you dip the card. so crooks would need to physically have your chip to make a purchase at the store with the counterfeit card. that doesn't mean they wouldn't be able to use it on line. >> if the system were to get hacked that card number could get stolen so back of the the stripe of our credit and debit card are easily to duplicate and chip is impossible to duplicate. >> an improvement. new credit cards are expect to be in wide use in the u.s. by october of next year. holiday shopping season will start even earlier this year, two hours earlier to be exact. macy's is first big retail turra announce its black friday schedule, opening up at 6:00 p.m. thanksgiving day, two hours earlier then last
