you are looking at live picture from easton, this all began as a vehicle stop in nearby palmer township. police say the suspect took off, eventually slamming his pick-up truck into an utility pole. right here in the area of 13th and spring garden, in easton, something then prompted police to shoot that suspect, the coroner and investigators remain at the scene. more updates as soon as they come into our news room. and our other top story this morning, local high school football power house's season is over, as hazing scandal rocks central bucks west. we'll have that story. first though thanks so much for joining us, i'm nicole brewer. >> i'm ukee washington. jan carabeo live report in just a moment for you. first, we start with traffic and weather together. katie, vittoria in the house,

at these shocking claims. jan, good morning. >> reporter: nicole, ukee, good morning. no doubt this stadium would have been pack tonight, had the season not been canceled, friday night football, against a a big rimple, cb east, leading into homecoming weekend. instead the football season here at cb west has been canceled, and the jv and varsity coaches have been suspended penned ago further investigation. this news disappoints even angers some student, some athletes as well at central bucks west, but they say this was necessary move. on line statement appearance, superintendent, david white sell, says ongoing investigation into alleged hazing shows improper conduct, by members of the football team, and failure of the coaching staff to properly supervise activities, the superintendent goes onto apologize to any member of the football program who was subjected to demeaning actions by fellow players, he writes these actions first reported on october 14th. and interviews were held on the following days with players and staff. the superintendent also

good morning, breaking news this morning, traffic stop at eastern northampton county leads to police chase and at least one officer fired a weapon at the fleeing car. the suspect crashed in the city of easton at the end of the chase but so far the suspects cause of death is not clear. pennsylvania state police are now involved in the investigation. there is cents a lot of information to gather, a loft mobile video record togs look at before we release any type of statement. and we have to interview all of the officers involved. so we will make sure all of
