they are getting later ape later. we are gaining two and a half minutes of sunlight every day as we head toward summertime. these days lasting a lot longer. when they are sunny and beautiful no complaints here. take a look at storm scan three no complaint there. things are quiet, skies are clear across the region. no cloud to be found. really we have to zoom way, way out to find our next system which is going over portions of the rockies. a warm front draped across portions of the the dakotas into minnesota and then we have rain, mountain snow moving through colorado and into portions of new mexico and arizona this system will be advancing through the next few days impacting us by late thursday or friday. in the meantime big dome of high pressure keeping things sunny, clear, dry, all across the eastern half of the country. as that high shifts, we will start to warm up and wind will gradually diminish. temperatures up and down this week we are mild yesterday in the 60's. today right about average in the upper 50's. tomorrow is warmer. we will spike 07's briefly on thursday but don't get too used to it.

it doesn't mean we will stay there we will tumble right back down to near average on saturday and then below average by about ten full degrees, by sunday. so it that is spring roller coaster, we will get into this time of the year when warm air wants to come in but cold air wants to hold its ground and we will get that battle ground. that is what we have this week. temperature averaging jumping well as we head through next couple months. average high for today, is 57. tommy should say april 29th a month from now the average high is 69, and by may 29th the average high is 78 degrees. that will feel fantastic. we had a taste of that back in early march. not looking like anything warmer then the 07's or 80's on the the way for the next few weeks. right now as we wake up tomorrow morning we will see tours drop in the 30's. we will wake up to below freezing in the lehigh valley. far western suburbs, pine barons area of new jersey around freezing as well. the lots of sunshine in the afternoon. warms up quite nicely. the thursday into friday this next system advances.

thursday a shower late in the day but friday this rain moves through and maybe even some thunder, especially through the first half of the day. it is a a cool start to april. we will warm up on thursday that front comes through on friday and then take a look at that cold bubble of air that spills in for the weekend. overnight tonight we are looking at temperatures in the mid 30's, mainly clear, less windy. tomorrow mostly sunny, pleasant not a lot of win, 60 degrees a perfect spring day, thursday's warm, watch for late day shower, friday a wet one and then it gets colder. temperatures will drop down by ten's here. sunday may not the get past the 40's. going down by ten's. >> craving warm weather. >> i am too. >> it needs to get here soon, not that it is your fault. >> yes.
