low pressure system circulation around the great lakes, this will be sliding southward and impacting our weather through the end of the week. it's a cut-off low. the jet stream flow is to the north. a concentrated area of strong wind. when you get a low to separate. it doesn't have anything to move it along out of had here. usually these systems come through quickly. these cut-off lows do not, so very slow moving producing clouds and showers right into weekend. here's what it looks like. we'll time it out. clear skies most of the region, 6:00 a.m. sunshine for most day. the sun will be shining. generally overnight tomorrow night and into thursday mornings and steadier rain could move through and pretty much all day thursday we'll have the chance for showers and heavier rain thursday, it's tough to time the actual shower activity with these cut-off lows. depends where it forms. it looks like the steadiest may be off to our southwest but you can see even fray, the threat for showers remains all day
