inning down, alexandria joins us the 1200 block of mcdade boulevard. what led police to make this discovery? >> starting with a officer in a vvs up the block buying an anniversary card, a employee tipped him off about a customer potentially shoplifting. person fled the store, and the officer saw him run into this home behind me. >> when officers knock on the home of the door on the 1200 block of mcdade boulevard, a woman known to police offered up the man who fled. , what appeared to be a lab of some sorts inside of the home was observed. >> this all happened before 2:00 a.m. police evacuated three people from the downstairs, and a couple living in a upstairs apartment, along with their pets. after an investigation, state police chemists determined that the downstairs portion of the home was indeed being used for a small meth operation. >> i have to give credit to the officer in the css. i have to give credit again.

a tide record today, although, it wouldn't be out of the question necessarily, if we ended up hitting eight an after all, because we are forecasting 84 here today. so see how we do. storm scan is nice and quiet locally. warmfront lifting out of here taking along with it some cloud cover, really started the day off on pretty pleasant note except for some fog. that's long since lifted. and we're left with just beautiful day. now, the jet stream plaza very critical roll in separating cool and warm air. because over the course of the next few days it is going well off to our north, tends to get blow torch effect taking effect here where we have 15, 20 degrees above the seasonable average, expected daytime high. just incredible warmth. not like it has never happened before. but, it is a little atypical to be seeing mid 80s at this time of the year. so, little hint of that indian summer for you, enjoy it while you have got it. the tropical satellite looking here over the next five days, 07% chance of this area of showers and thunderstorms, to develop. we'll keep an eye on that for you, for now, no imminent threat on that.

in the meantime, as we take a look, back here, locally, what we can expect over the course of the next few days is still just exceptional warmth for the standards. at 78 degrees right now, after all at palmyra cove nature park. a place does ends up registering little cooler because it is a more remote area, but offer in the distance, you can see, the center city skyline here, betsy ross bridge off in the distance, a tad hazy, but overall, nice clear sky for us here. that winds direction is key. out of the southwest it comes to help usher in the warmth. it is not really all that humid outside right now. but with the heat out in this, probably sweating, i would definitely suggest breaking out the shorts, if you did not put them away. good for you. but, generally speaking i think a lot of us might have to dig into the closet for them here. we have another very warm day on tap. few clouds dropping down to only 64, normal daytime high again 66 degrees, so our overnight low is more reminiscent where we normally top off n short though, it is going to go pretty quickly here, we keep it pretty warm
