>> yes, even just walk around the building. it feels so nice. now, it is warm, don't get me wrong, if you are wearing a heavy dark suit. jim? maybe a little uncomfortable if out there. sleeveless, that's the way to go. let me take you out there, we start things off by talking about that heat spell that we've got, indian summer, it will typically occur in mid to late fall, right after the first frost, and we have seen that already, outlying suburbs in new jersey and also pennsylvania, above average temperatures, check, and then generally clear skies. so, definitely our present for us, as women. i think you can use this as qualifier for sure. storm scan, look closely, see the trail of clouds that extends all the way back to the ohio river. that is a frontal boundary that's crossing through as we speak. it is pretty weak. it is pretty moisture starved, but it will knock the temperatures back into tomorrow. and there is another system getting it act together now into the central planes. that is what eventually will produce our next very potent cold front passage, that's going to send temperatures on even more of downhill slope
12:21 pm
here. for now, jet stream. critical. we have large dome of high pressure in the southeast. it is sending very warm air our way, pushing jet stream off to the north, separate the coolest air from the warm else. so you have record warmth today with 15, to 20 degrees above average, along around the region as a whole with the temperature readings, just unreal. not like we've never seen it before, but this is, again, record breaking day. so on this particular day, the warmth that we've got. is atypical. we haven't been this hot ever on this day here in philadelphia anyway. meanwhile, future weather showing couple of different frontal passage, first front today, then the same system actually same front lifting north as warmfront tomorrow. that will trigger a shower, maybe a shower or two, any time during the day, and then the potent cold front comes along into friday, the guidance starting to make this move in a little later than originally anticipated. so i do think we'll see rainout of this but mainly late toward friday night fall into early saturday morning. great excuse if you are lucky enough to have the day off.
