12:07 pm
is going to bypass us to the northwest but eventually this is going to cross through. here's how it all times out. there will be spotty showers that pick up before the day is all said and done. i will do more of a time stamped more detailed run down and track this later in the broadcast. stick around for that. but general theme is that you see bulk of wet weather moving in tonight and then possibly lingering, into the morning hours, before things start to clear out overhead. the blustery conditions also pick up, here's view of sky scan three where it is quiet and we can see blue sky through there but 75 is current temperature. we are substantially above average here. the wind blow out of the southwest of the cold front to move that warmth our way, however, we're going to see these values get knocked back by say 20 degrees come tomorrow. it is going to really be a significant change, rude, awakening if you are not ready for it. that is where we come n just expect some showers before the day is all said and done leading in the weekend and

pat toomey, out for himself, not us. dscc is responsible for the content of this advertising. i've seen what can happen as the result of hate. my son matt was murdered in laramie, wyoming, in 1998. he was befriended by two men in a bar who pretended to be gay. they offered him a ride home, and when he was in their car, they robbed him and beat him. they drove matt out to the prairie and tied him to a split-rail fence, then beat him some more and left him for dead. in the aftermath of matt's death, my family saw the best of america in the love and support we were shown. so when i see the hate that donald trump has brought to his campaign for president, it terrifies me. i'd like to punch him in the face, i'll tell ya. ahh, i don't know what i said, uhh, i don't remember. he's a mexican. i could stand in the middle of fifth avenue and shoot somebody, and i wouldn't... words have an influence. violence causes pain. hate can rip us apart. i know what can happen as the result of hate,

and donald trump should never be our president. priorities usa action is responsible for the content of this advertising. well, welcome back. so katie, what is going on in weather. >> well, we made to it friday. >> we did. >> only to find it will get a lot colder. >> yes, you know, it is not like we have never seen it before but we have been really spoiled with temperatures that have far exceeded expectation,
12:16 pm
even yesterday. >> exactly. >> it is going to be more windier, but also a lot will cooler coming up here and these temperatures drop a solid 20 degrees, 20 solid degrees, just take ate way just like that from one day to the next. on top we factor in the wind that will be cranking throughout the course of the weekend and that of course headaches it feel that much chillier. so lets give you a dose of reality. take a look what is happening and why this is happening. it is part of the potent system. earlier we showed thaw tight zoom on storm scan. this is a wide zoom of the system in the entirety. it has a lot of hoist tour, thankfully we're in the dealing with the bulk of that moisture. that is off to the north and west of our area but regardless, this is dragging the cold front through that eventually, brings in the showers, for us, and granted we are not talking about flooding downpours but could mess with your outdoor plans if you have any outside tonight. for now we will go to just one live neighborhood network shot where is there a mar, blemish on the camera lens because
12:17 pm
there has been a couple rain drops but clearly blue skies moving through there as well. we are at 68 degrees at middletown ship high school. let me time stamp this out. we have had showers along jersey shore, that is the lone spot that had to deal with so far but we will get in this late afternoon toward time the kid are getting out of school. we are far inland in most suburbs likely to see first rain drops falling. the western berks county, out to kutztown for example we will see a bit of wet weather. it is not until late evening rush, and through overnight hours that we will see these scattered showers. it is not a huge batch of heavier rain and there will be pops of steady rain but scattered in nature. it could linger overnight and in the early part of tomorrow. so maybe as late as pushing lunchtime again, we will still have wet weather to track on storm scan. possibly even up toward these northern suburbs outside of philadelphia. so lets talk about the wind very quickly here tonight. it is starting to pick up as cold front crosses. tomorrow wind gusts as high as 35 if not 40 miles an hour in
12:18 pm
some spots, so that means it will not feel much better then the 40's. so through the course of your saturday. i want to break this down with a couple of events coming up. of course we have friday football games going on here this evening. our friday football frenzy game of the week is cb east verse c.b. west. there may be a shower out there in time for kick off but temperatures are dropping off. by the time we have beach tomorrow 10:00 a.m. with meisha johnson and jim donovan who will be there. they will be bundled up. if you go out to that event, great cause. make sure you do the same. then you have your eagles game, sun will be shining for that. still breezy but not as harsh and it looks like it will be perfect football weather and would i say weather is certainly in the favor of our hometown eagles. we will look forward in the forecast and temperatures do go on a rebound, we will hit mid 60's on monday as well, but then another drop off for you here, upper 50's at best for tuesday and wednesday, but yeah, right now it looks like wetter period of the forecast comes tonight and into
12:19 pm
tomorrow. jim and rahel back to you. >> there went bottom on our forecast. there is a lot to talk about in the entertainment world these days and we have just special guest right for this job. >> it is true, joining us now in the studio is entertainment tonight's kevin frazier. we are so used to talking to you from california, so great to be in philadelphia. >> good to see you likewise. >> let's talk about first and foremost a lot have of news with kim kardashian or allege robbery in paris. >> well, surveillance tape came out. that is what they are analyzing is surveillance tape taken. we get to see. everybody wanted to see the people, we heard about it, a french tv stationary leased it. now it is every where. we will get a look into the guys who some walk, rode their bikes and stole the jewelry and stuff from kim. but we see the guy who dropped jewelry and they are analyzing now with the dna. we are waiting for dna to get analyzed and we will have more information. we're also waiting for kim to

return to social media. you see her family is starting to trickle out there but interesting to go see when she finally returns to social media. she has been so quiet. what will that first tweet be. also, it is interesting to go hear from the stars who stayed there. you know, security guard spoke yesterday and talked about how they have not changed the security code in so long. the video, security surveillance cameras in the hotel didn't work. so it will be interesting to see the fall out from that, and what kind of lawsuits will come, out of the mistakes, that the hotel hade. >> so, very quickly, at some point there was some question whether it was a stunt or a hoax, i am assuming this has to help her case. >> well, i think this clearly shows there was something, something that happened and something went on. of course, there is those people when it comes to the kardashians when keeping up with the kardashians is being launch, they will always say is this real. >> publicity. >> publicity. >> but you do see, i mean, the family has been pretty
12:21 pm
forthright with this situation saying that kim is really shook up and this is a tough, tough situation. we do understand that this went down. it will be interesting to go see how she reacts and what will that first tweet be. >> let's switch gears. laid gaga coming out with the new album what should we expect. >> here's the thing, gaga has reinvented herself by coming out again. joann is a new album and it is stripped down gaga. that is what we will see. for so long when it came to her music it was the theater as much as the music. you jump around but you want to see what she's wearing ape doing. now gaga has turned back into, herself. and that women who built a career, sitting in front of, you know, playing music and hear much more of that and see much more of the real gaga. now important thing about joann, it is her return to focusing on the music but she's playing the super bowl this year. so we want to sit down and digest that album so we can
12:22 pm
figure out what she will play when she hits the stage. it is biggest stage in the world. important moment but she's already number one on itunes. her little monsters will gobble this up. but it will be interesting to go see how many people buy album and how many will stream it. that is a important distinction who buys and who streams. >> very important from one icon to the next, you just did an interview, last night on the late, late show with james corden. what is up next for her. >> cher will have a residency in vegas and d.c. area. folks can see d.c. and cher perform. doing a she called classic cher. thing about cher she's 07 years old but she's still sexy, fun. she's cher. she has not changed a bit. that is what you will get and i cannot wait to see. it was cool talking to her because nothing is off limits when it comes to cher. the things that come out of her mouth are a macing. >> that due it last night was also amazing. >> incredible. >> yes.
