and routes. pension caps remain a stick point as day dragged on with no deal just yet. >> it is close, close but it is always that little something, you know, but it is close. they are making progress every where but they have to get the final thing done. >> on the labor side we know our workers have concern, they want to have addressed. so we want their issues to be addressed but ultimately at the end of the day we want to make sure that next tuesday on november 8th, we have a transportation system that is up and running so we can move the city of philadelphia forward on election day. >> reporter: city and state officials have been checking in on the negotiations, you say congressman bob brady there, also state representative dwight evans has been a crucial part of the negotiations as well. all seem to be optimistic that they can get this resolved by election day. if that does not appear to be the case, septa officials a they would seek an injunction through course to restore services on that day to make sure that voters get to the polls and exercise their
