the first after 1:00 a.m. in green's home town. the second 20 minutes later and two miles away in des moines. after being taken into custody, green was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, possibly for seizures. a multi--day antiviolence operation in west philadelphia results in dozens of arrests. this is police video of some of that operation which focused on the 16th district. there were 64 arrests mostly for drug sales. some violent crimes. officers also confiscated about $30,000 worth of drugs, guns and cash. local law enforcement is earning praise tonight for saving a suicidal man who jumped into delaware river. they responded to the river's edge in xamd. a man jumped into the river upon seeing them and headed to deeper water. the sheriff's officers swam out and talked to him. a few camden county metro police officers arrived. they also jumped in. >> once they were out, we were

58 degrees there right now. which is still mild for the time of year. stormscan 3 shows our next front. this front is bringing the heat and taking it away. giving and it's taking it right back. we've got showers and storms rumbling across the great lakes. what's happening is ahead of this front we get a southwest flow helping temperatures ramp up. the front comes through and and behind it as early as this time tomorrow. you're going to start to feel this cold air, this line of showers denotes the boundary between summer like warmth and fall-like chill and the chill will be back. let's enjoy this. here's a recap of highs. look at wilmington 75. 73 in atlantic city. even warmer just off to the west. where we saw upper 70's in washington, dc, pittsburgh and cleveland. charleston west virginia at 82. clear skies through the overnight hours, start tomorrow with perhaps fog then tomorrow afternoon, here's 4:00 p.m. this line of showers starts to move
