firefighters rescued a 11 month old and six year old from the second floor of their home on the 300 block of sheldon street last night. those children were raised to the hospital in critical condition. the cause of that fire remains under investigation, and it is not clear if the home had working smoke detectors. also, neighbors are unsure if any adults were home at the time. "eyewitness news" reporter anita o will have more for you coming up at 6:00. >> police make another gruesome discovery on the same south carolina property where a missing woman was found chained inside a shipping container. investigators say a search was w cadaver dog unearthed human remains, why authority fear there could be more. >> reporter: forty-five year old todd chris of erray period before a south carolina judge, friday, the registered sex offender is charged with kidnapping a 30 year old woman, whom authorities found chained in a storage container on his property. prosecutor barry barnett told the judge he could face more

good evening, i'm ukee washington along with jessica dean. we're following a huge water main break tonight. >> out to david spunt in nicetown at the scene that far water water main break. david, what can you tell us? >> jessica, i have covered two water main breaks in the last 18 months, both have been in this exact same location. and i do mean exact same location. we're at baker center right now on roberts avenue. as we zoom in right now, you can see where the water is coming out t appears that the water flow is flowing down a little bit. initially reports were that it was a 60-inch main, authorities with the water department in philadelphia tell me it turns out that it is a 48-inch main. doesn't really make that much of a difference, because the entire parking lot is flooded. authorities have been here

campaign 2016. there is a lot to talk about, as we get closer to election day. and as we get closer to election day, the latest polls have the candidates very close to one another. hillary clinton, and donald trump, have been barn storming all of the swing states, across the country, as they try to get those last minute voters who haven't early voted already 30 million people have early voted, which is incredible number tonight get some perspective on all of that, we go now to john dickerson, the political director and host of "face the nation". john, thanks so much for being with us, we've made it to the final stretch. >> i know, we're all still here, we need to get out the other side. but we're almost there. >> we're almost there. i was just talking belly voting. 30 million upward of 30 million early vote have already been cast. what do you make of the importance of early voting and how it will come to play into all of this? >> well, we have to kind of see the way it will turn out in the end. because early vote something quite important. and strategically the

campaigns look to see who has voted so that they can then put pressure on their other kind of voters. so, it is strategically important. we don't really know how important it is until we get to the final result. and we see how the campaign used it, there have been numbers at both sides to spin in terms of who has voted and in what states. but, sometimes, that's affected by a number of things, the changes in-laws, and other things. so it is interesting because we'll -- it will certainly be a part of the narrative once you get the results. but, right now, the democrats probably have a little advantage in the way it is turning out in some of the states. but again, it is really we'll know the real store when we get to the votes on election day. >> obviously in pennsylvania we're getting a lot of attention from the candidates, and their surrogate, and asomugha a swing state, what are the other states you're keeping an eye on for election night? what are the ones you think are really going to prove to be pivotal? >> well, pennsylvania's a crucial one, of course,

because in the democratic column traditionally, has been since 1988. hillary clinton has pulled onto the state. if she doesn't then it opens up more opportunities for donald trump. but if she is able to hold on, to pennsylvania, and that will rely on huge turn out among african-americans in pennsylvanian pittsburgh, then looking at florida and north carolina. if she can hold the democratic states, traditional ones, pick up one of those states, then she will almost certainly make it to 70. if she doesn't, hold north carolina and florida, then it is onto ohio, and then nevada, and it becomes a lot more complicated for her and donald trump who has a separate path of 270, things will be looking good for him if he is able to pick up those east coast, florida and north carolina states. >> we know you will have a lot to talk about sunday, preview for everyone getting ready for "face the nation" on sunday? >> what we will try and do sunday basically give people a voters guide. what they should be paying attention to on tuesday, also talking to chairman of the republican party ryan, and a
