katie joining us now, katie jim and i were both asleep last night. no idea what what the weather was like, but what's it going to be like today? >> chilly after the sun went down, under the cover of darkness, clear sky no less, temperatures could drop off very readily. this is about the time of the day, too, where they drop to their coldest point right before the sun comes up. so, that's where we stand right now, into the 30's for many locations for many of you, but it is calm as can be. i barely notice, i mean, hint of breeze out here, there is always wind flowing, it is either calm though or you notice it, but, in that set, calm enough that the frost can storm. storm scan quiet. it will stay that way yet again. looking at the area temperatures, you have fallen below freezing now in handful of spots like millville, like mount pocono, at freezing in reading here in philly more like 41 degrees, but still cold enough it requires heavy coat. below freezing in handful of spot outside of the city, mt. holly one off to the east, quakertown, 28, so you get the

pole work verse already start today arrive here at the red bank school west depford, new jersey, the polls open here in the garden state at 6:00 sharp. now, it is hillary clinton who is expected to win the garden state. the democrat has done so since 1992. but, just across the river in pennsylvania much tighter race, and both candidates spent a lot of time in pa, a swing state yesterday. take a look at the video. hillary clinton brought the star power to philadelphia, brought a big crowd too. bruce springsteen, her husband bill clinton, president obama and the first lady all joined the democratic candidate on stage outside of independence hall. clinton spent the day pushing her message, one final time to voters in a number every swing state. she and her supporters are urging voters to embrace a hopeful and inclusive america with their votes today. >> a choice between division, or unity between an economy that works for everyone, or

only those at the top. >> republican candidate donald trump also spent his day criss-crossing the country courting undecided voters in battle ground states. one every his five rallies was in scranton, pennsylvania. trump needs to turn blue states red in order to win the electoral vote needed to lands him in the white house. he, too, campaigned until the very last minute, holding a rally in michigan. he's vowing to beat a corrupt system and thinks the chances are pretty good in pa. >> they say we're tide in pennsylvania. i don't think so. i don't think so. i think we're going to blow them out tomorrow in a lot of different ways. >> now, both candidates are going to watch the result roll in from new york city. but there is a long day of voting ahead. again, polls here in new jersey open at 6:00. then in pennsylvania and delaware hold their open at 7:00. and then all of the polls come to a close at 8:00. we will be watching it all, but for now, live in west depford, new jersey, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", rahel, jim, back into
