after years of accusations, this is the first time he has been formally charged. >> prosecutors say cosby drugged and attacked a woman 12 years ago at his pennsylvania home. we are in elkins park pennsylvania. >> reporter: the arraignment happened in this door behind me. mr. cosby walked in just like anybody else except there were dozens of reporters and photographers waiting for him as he was escorted in by two attorneys to face the charges against him. bill cosby left a pennsylvania courthouse wednesday afternoon after his arraignment on charges of felony sexual so. bail was set at $1 million. the 78-year-old comedian is charged with aggravated indecent assault against a university. that his alma mater. >> these charges stem from a sexual assault that took place on an evening in early 2004 at mr. cosby's home. >> -- >> reporter: this is the first

accusations by more than 50 women. the allegations in this complaint echo claims made by other accusers. >> on the evening in question, mr. cosby urged her to take pills that he provided and to drink wine. the effect of which rendered her unable to move or respond. >> reporter: the charges against him are second-degree felonies. if convicted the 78-year-old with a 5 to 10 years in prison and a $25,000 fine. that might not be the worst of it. several other accusers have filed lawsuits against cosby. represents seven of them. >> if convicted of civil or -- similar conduct, this has impact on a civil case. >> reporter: cosby has denied any wrongdoing. he has acknowledged a series of of almost 52 years. his next court date is january 14.

no one ever heard from him after that. now his remains have been identified in upton.>> mr. robinson was a son and a father of a couple children. >> reporter: jamie robertson had been missing for two years until this weekend. here in upton, a hunter found his remains in the woods. detectives didn't take long to figure out who it was. >> we literally went from having a human skull and some bones along with a few other items that were found in the woods the day after christmas, to an identification of homicide within 72 hours. >> reporter: on new year's day 2014, two man posing as probation officers took robertson from his parent's -- parents' home in avon. they soon caught him and charged him with kidnapping. a fourth man was allegedly involved as well letting these

handcuffs. >> there's mixed emotions between sadness and relief. now they know what happened. >> reporter: no murder charges yet for the three kidnappers. they are still in lockup as for the cop, he made bell. -- bail. a lot of questions. new hampshire investigations want to know what caused a deadly crash involving secret service agents who were part of hillary clinton's security detail. a driver passed over the center line and crashed head-on into the [ indiscernible ] the driver of the car was killed. paramedics took two passengers and all 4 security officers to the hospital.

i had to share this picture. this is from charlie who was at blue hills observatory. he captured this. it's hoarfrost it happens when there is utter vapor in the air which deposits ice crystals onto any surface that it's floating by. you get this spiny looking creature on top of blue hill this morning. that's an interesting site. let's talk about more ice in the forecast. current temperatures in boston, they split across the area, southern new hampshire around essex county, upper 20s to around 30 degrees. the same story around metro boston, 30 in the city and norwood. and then the cape in the island is above freezing and will stay above freezing tonight. when we talk about eyes, we are not talking to you. that is the good news in that corner of the area. this is sliding up across the east coast and will bring us freezing rain. freezing rain advisories are

and west through at least 3 am. it will probably expand a little longer as we go through the overnight. before we get to the freezing rain, there's a lot of fog outside this evening. we have low visibility. since it's below freezing in some areas, the fog can freeze on surfaces like the hoarfrost i just showed you. we expect very cold conditions tonight. lookout for freezing drizzle. for the overnight, we will draw the lawn from boston to about trenton and mansfield, anywhere north and west. this is where we will most likely see the freezing rain. even tomorrow morning, areas north and west of boston, central and northern ends of 495 into essex county in still could have lingering icy spots for the commute. be careful all the way through sunrise tomorrow. then we will bring in warmer temperatures.
