enough north to bring us snowfall in especially southeastern massachusetts for tomorrow afternoon evening and night and will move out to sea by the time we head towards sunday morning and taking a strong wend along with it. so snow totals once you head north and west we are talking a coating of snowfall. and not a storm system for new hampshire vermont or maine. 1 to 3 in boston and north shore. westward towards worcester. 3 to 6 in southeastern massachusetts and there's a potential some areas right along the far south coast could top 6 inches. if that main band of the heaviest snowfall moves a bit farther north. we have a high wind warning out for the cape and nantucket and this includes martha vineyard's as well because it's a blizzard warning. wind gusts 40 to 60 miles per hour and you don't have the blizzard warnings farther east because the wetter snow consistency is going to lead to less blowing and drifting and blizzard warnings are about visibility and wind. watching the coast sunday morning. high tide in particular south shore bay side and cape and nantucket. pockets of minor and coastal

weekend looks good for patriots related plans. let's look at current radar. snow trying to move no dry air. most not reaching the ground as it heads up towards new york. we are looking at heavy icing in the carolinas. seeing how this is going to impact everyone getting effort to nfc championship game. travel issues and we are seeing a transfer of energy. main storm system going today and starting to push energy towards the coastline a new low that's forming here and this is the one that's coming up the coastline and then it's going to move off to the south and east as we head into tomorrow night. so here you see that transfer there. and we have the heavy snowfall in dc and felly and up towards new york. the big of the forecast question is the same it's been all week long. where is the northern extent of the heavy snow because it's going to be a wall. you will have very heavy snowfall rates and you will have nothing on the either side of it and that's why it's been such a challenge for the last several days. so we think that snow gets up towards the boston area for tomorrow afternoon and evening.

not reach the ground because there's a lot of dry air in place. as we head towards sunday morning, the last of the snow southeastern massachusetts moves out to sea and the storm will take the strongest winds out to sea at that point. so where we are looking at with snow totals is basically a coating or so north of that route 2 corridor and southern now ham sure. we have one to three inches of snow along the immediate north shore boston and westward along the pike and towards worcester and from the attleboro arian south and east 3 to 6 inches of snow. there's a potential along the south coast southern rhode island we could see total top a half a foot. we will see where the line sets up and know it's potential outcome if the loin nudges farther north. we winter storm warnings along the south -- line nudges farther north. we have winter storm warnings along the south shore. and there's a business -- blizzard warning for martha's vineyard. the weather service would have issued blizzard, with a

afternoon and evening blowing snow and poor visibility especially here in southeastern massachusetts. the gusts out of the northeast at 45 to 55 miles per hour. the wind piles up the water full moon is tomorrow and so the tides tides are high and we expect pockets of minor to maybe rod rit -- moderate coastal flooding aespecially along the south shore and sandwich and nantucket and outer cape. watching the sunday morning high tides so it's little late morning until early afternoon. right around lunch. tomorrow's high's temperatures up to the freezing mark and milder south and east. that's why you will have a wet cape and islands. inland we are talking about 20s and with the breeze it's going feel colder for the interior. we head towards sunday afternoon and lower 30s and we have got sunshine and much improved weather. winds will subside heading into the afternoon. and heading north they are not getting snow out of this system but it's been cold all week long and it's comfortably cold this weekend. we have 20s at the slopes for saturday and sunday and making plenty of snowfall so a good
