surging north ward. we are pointing mainly near and west of the valley. a couple of isolated showers can't be ruled out, but the action will be further west than it was yesterday afternoon. these are the current temperatures. 72 in south moth as we are getting ready for the road race up there. thousands going for that. itot it will become more humid. a little bit of a breeze coming in there. look at the dew points, lower 70s to the south. some of that is coming up tonight. it's going to be very humid before the front comes in from the west and dries things out. the beaches near 80 in some spots. high tide at 2:11.

level complaints. what do you make of that? >> well, i am disappointed with the leadership. i like pat rose and brian black. you know, they do a nice job generally, but i wish at least on things like the body cameras they would embrace that more, the mediation, they would embrace that more. i think that would be a big thing for our city. i have been a supporter of going to body cameras for a i have seen the power of video not only in the prosecution, but in the police shooting cases. these can be helpful. >> in the unfortunate event things things go off the rail. i have a lot of conversations with police officers and i think for the most part they

place. they want to do what's important with the city and so forth. i think -- i hope it's not an issue of money. i believe it's important for us to embrace this technology. >> the union has reached out to president obama saying he has "fanned the flames." do you believe that? >> no, actually, i speak many times positively about the police. i believe there's a way to speak and correctly criticize what's happening. there's been misconduct and we can't turn a blind eye to that, either. the only way we can do our jobs is to be open.
