a man facing murder charges for killing a woman in her own home is held without bail. liam, they are not saying anything about the connection between the two. >> reporter: lisa, richard moore was charged with second degree murder, emotional in court appearing on video with the judge wiping away tears. investigatorssay that moore killed 51-year-old jo-an bouc in her danville home. theysay that moore knew boucher but would not comment more. moore is a registered sex offender. we learned as a teenager, he was convicted of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old. he is currently held without bail. lisa? >> liam, thank you. 100 boston police officers are now wearing body cameras. on friday, a judge ruled that

cameras to wear cameras after none volunteered. eight members of the command staff agreed to wear the cameras before the judge's friday decision. a controversial question, would the mbta run better if private companies handled some of the work? the board that oversees the t's finances say yes. take the buses. they have 1700 drivers and 450 maintenance workers. the t spends $169 an hour the board says private companies may be able to do some of that work for a lot less. but as jim smith shows us, the people who have the key jobs, well, they're fighting back. >> reporter: mbta union workers making sure that their voices were heard in boston. the union is upset that the mbta is considering privatizing

>> it's not the answer. it will raise fares, cut service, and reduce benefits of the men and women at the mbta. >> reporter: the mbta has a current $100 million deficit in the operating budget. the governor weighed in. >> our goal is to deliver the best possible service to the traveling public for the best price. the answer of publically or privately should not be the answer. we need to make sure people get kind of price they deserve and are entitled to. >> reporter: privatization is an issue with the mbta union. they have a meeting with key upper management set for this month. >> i would say that every job is probably at stake, and we are 4100 members in our union. they are all worried about their jobs. >> reporter: the union is claiming it has given mbta's management a plan to save $24

400 million dollars away from neighborhood public schools. that's not right. instead of draining even more money from neighborhood public schools and giving it to charters, let's devote public resources to all of our students... not just a select few. don't lift the cap on charter schools.

we begin with breaking news at 5:30, investigators in methuen are asking for the public's help with the murder of 29-year-old wanda rosa.

and police are looking for her ex-boyfriend, emilio de la rosa. they believe he killed her and took the couple's 4-year-old son and dropped the child at a relative's home. stars and stripes stole friend a highway overpass. investigators believe that it was removed from the overpass but that the person was caught bill shields has the report. >> reporter: this man, david hickman, decided one banner should be taken down, this one, the black and blue, honoring police officers. >> the state property is not supposed to become billboards for the general public. anybody can put something there. >> reporter: he said he supports police and yesterday on 9/11, he was caught taking
