greens. the downtown crossing locations shut down for health violations. >> this is the second sweet green to have issues within the past two months. and bill shields is live in boston. >> inspectors were at the store and came up with a list of health code violations. the store management voluntarily closed and some of the violations are interesting including dirty prep services. >> in inspection, we found a number of violations, and the violations are at the point that we sincerely encourage the restaurant to close. >> reporter: the inspector found a list of violations, including fly infestation. this is the second sweet greens store to close this year. late this afternoon, all of the employees at the school street

one of the major violations was an untrained manager. >> the one we're most concerned about is the person in charge. and not having the knowledge that we expect it to have. >> reporter: it's a california based chain with eight stores in eastern mass. even though this store closed at 11:00 this morning. they were observed still serving food to customers at 1:30 today. >> we'll look into that. thank >> reporter: and those customers were takeout customers. we observed several people showing up and they were turned away. and inspectors will be back at 9 a.m. tomorrow. we did just moments ago get a statement from sweet greens saying that they'd voluntarily

of guests seriously. a dozen police officers in western mass are under investigation, accused of attacking a group of men outside a springfield bar. in april 2015, a group of off duty officers used a baton to beat them. a woman was whistled at and the district attorney the case. a home in kingston after animal control found a dozen pets inside. the 70-year-old woman was taken to the hospital. and many of the animals in that home were caged and living in filthy conditions. if his wife gives the green light, curt schilling says he's

produce scattered showers in northern new england and not much rain tomorrow morning. at 7:30 in the morning. it's overcast and temperatures in the 60s. it's going to be a mild night and in some cases the temperature may go up. it will go up as the clouds go to the southeast. we go to the 70s to almost 80 and start cooling off and falling back in the 50s. warm weather tomorrow and it should be for takes the big plunge. and the cold air plunging this weekend. and of course we have the charles regatta. it's going to be cold and windy. 20 to 40 miles per hour on saturday. and starting cloudy with sprinkles and then breaks of sunshine in the afternoon. and then in the afternoon on sunday for the head of the charles, it's going to be pretty much in the middle 50s and still windy but not as windy as saturday.

a new england teen is back on the football field after a play last season nearly paralyzed him. he landed on his head and a defender fell on top of him breaking his neck. >> his comeback is being called a miraculous one. >> just really happen, let alone to walk. and that's the biggest part. and being so close to being able to walk, and football blessing. >> doctors told chris -- that 70% of people who suffer the injury he did end up in a wheelchair. tonight he's back on the football field. >> my parents would say you're not going to let him come back, are you? and that was a hard decision. the biggest thing was his health and making sure the doctors said it was okay. >> reporter: he jumped at the chance to return to the game he loves. the teen is quick to credit

adjacent in that playground right over there. the alleged incident happened monday around noon during recess here at st. augustine elementary school in an dover. several children between the ages of 10 and 12 witnessed this man exposing himself as he pretended to be on his cell phone. >> the individual ended up doing it a second time. >> reporter: the children didn't report the went home and told their parents who informed administrators today. this mother picking up her kindergartner just found out. >> i'm shaking inside. my teeth were chattering when i was talking to my mother. and we're in this bubble of an dover and it feels safe and there's so many things going on. there's nowhere safe.
