>> we tried that trick before and figured out how much were watching and found out. >> yeah, surprising. >> do you remember? >> yes, i do. >> what are we looking at for the weekend? >> okay. weekend coming up. it could be worse, it could be better, but overall i think it's relatively satisfactory. >> let's go to the ws. >> see what's happening. in fact 3 high schools in the ws here we go high school also 41 and out at westin it's 38. these are the numbers around the ridge gone right now and lower than yesterday. the 24-hour temperature change is down about 10 degrees than this time yesterday morning. the storm came up over us and brought the warm air up, got us in the 50s for a while yesterday. and the cold air rushed back in and temperatures started falling during the day back in the 40s and that's where we are right
6:16 am
back in the 50s in cleveland and 60s in chicago. so a little surge of warmth here and looks like that wedge is going to try to move in over the weekend but it's not going to have any chance of being this warm. look at how much of the nation is going to have real beautiful weather in the low to middle # 0s there even chicago 72 today. so that's where the warm air exists unfortunately it doesn't have much of a chance of really surging in here but some of it is going to it's setting off a few sprinkles and mostly light showers. so we get a chance of a shower this morning, chance of a shower this afternoon from the cold front. so there are some scattered spring excess not all this rain is making it down to the ground. meantime to the west we actually have some lightning out here -- we did just a little while ago crossing lake ontario and that's the leading edge of the cold front. so this is going to come southeast ward so that's where

afternoon. so again these showers this morning tend to be very light drying up as they come. then this afternoon some scattered showers developing ahead of the cold front. that will be coming down but again most of it in northern new england, and then here's what happens tomorrow. this model right here is showing going to have varying amounts of cloudiness with sunshine sending us up lower 60s but it's not forecasting any rain in the me. so i'm disagreeing with that model and thinking we are going to have showers. as that front which comes down it's going to sort of slow down in southern new england and showers develop along that front. so today upper 50s for high this is afternoon, tomorrow's highs lower 60s with some sunshine at times with varying amounts of clouds in the morning and then the showers come through in the afternoon then it's going to be all clearing out for halloween. how about halloween it looks
