the vehicle rolled onto the guardrail. the victim was taken to the hospital. the two left lanes were closed for a while. all lanes are back up. also breaking overnight in chelsea a car ended up its side on spencer avenue just before midnight. police are still investigating what caused the crash. breaking news in burlington this morning residents may be waking up to in water. crews water main break at bedford street near exit 26 from route 3 about a mile and a half from the burlington mall. the water main is being shut off. police say crews hope to have it fixed in a few hours. a developing story in lawrence for you, a woman found dead outside an apartment building on exchange street. police believe she died sometime between 5:00 and 7:00 yesterday morning. they are calling her death suspicious. late last night investigators say they

also developing this morning hazmat crews called to the scene of a train derail meant in westford, several cars going off the tracks. residents were told to be on alert, anna what's the latest? >> reporter: chris, neighbors were ready to evacuate but fortunately there were not any leaks from the derailed cars and they were not forced out of their homes. from the overpass you can see the cars off the tracks, and this video gives you train, according to the lowell sun six cars on a pan am railways freight train derailed last night they were carrying a potentially flammable cleaning material. this happened in the area of broadway and graniteville roads in west ford. neighbors september us these pictures. again -- sent us

leaks and they were able to stay in their homes. you can see there are crews working on the situation. the cars have been stabilized and this morning the challenge will be getting these cars back on the tracks. fortunately there were no injuries as part of this situation, and the cause of the derail meant is under investigation. for now live in westford anna mier website this morning. police searching for three masked men in her home the latest. >> reporter: kate, we're told by police this morning there's no overnight update in this story, so those three intruders are still out there. i can tell you the woman was not physically hurt. obviously emotionally shaken, but police say she was able to free herself from the duct tape and call police. the big house is the she will where it happened just after 9:00 --

in the meantime they're urging anyone with information to come forward. we're live in sterling, nicole jacobs wbz this morning. more breaking news police say two police officers have been shot and killed in ambush-style attacks in iowa. officers responded to a report of shots fired around 1:00 this morning and found a police officer who had been shot. about 20 minutes later a des moines police officer was shot and killed as ll the family of a woman shot and killed in dorchester says she had just moved to boston to provide a better life for her and her family. 36-year-old banine timothy and a 15-year- old boy were shot saturday afternoon. her husband says she came from boston from haiti this summer to start a new life for their kids. >>stronger than me. she was the

the kids. now that she's gone how many i going to raise -- how am i going to raise the kids? >>the association for haitian women in boston has started a go fund me page it pay for funeral costs. the shooting is still under investigation. 6:07 right now. two friends in the hospital with critical injuries this morning. they were at this time by a septic truck last night in front of city hall. the chief's telling us the 67-year-old 71-year-old man were from boston. they were visiting friends and running errands. the truckdriver did stay on scene and is not facing charges. police investigating the death of a 3-year-old crushed to death by a vehicle her father was working on. her father was also taken to the hospital. the driver accused of hitting a little boy trick-or-treating in lowell has lost her license. witnesses say she hit the boy after he darted into the street.

off. police arrested her not far from the scene. the boy is expected to recover. the drifter sentenced to death for a deadly car jacking will ask a new jury to spare his life. opening statements begin today in the new trial for gary sampson. he pleaded guilty in 2003 to killing two people in massachusetts and a third in new hampshire. he was sentenced to death but a judge overturned the sentence in 2011. although the death penalty in banned in massachusetts he is eligible us in federal court. for the first time in more than two years iraqi troops have entered mosul which have been in the hands of islam i think state mill pants. they're prepared for some of the heaviest fighting yet. now to campaign 2016 with less than a week until election day, new polls show the race is tightening. both candidates now

exchange street. police believe she died between 5:00 and 7:00 yesterday morning. investigators identified her but have not released her name. 6:34 right now police searching for three masked men wanted in a home invasion. police say they tied up a woman and ransacked her home. nicole jacobs is live in sterling with the latest. >> reporter: chris, according to police, the 70-year-old woman was not physically hurt. she was home alone, they they say she was relatively calm and able to free herself from the duct tape and call police. they say this all happened yesterday morning just before 9:30, and they say three masked men wearing gloves entered the home through an unlocked door armed with a knife, they tied up the woman in her bedroom and demanded the location of the safe. police confirmed there was no safe, but they say the suspects did make off with

boston firetruck in the bay. the driver did not stop. five people including four firefighters were injured. six people dead after a crash involving a school bus and a commuter bus in maryland. this is the scene here. baltimore police say the school bus driver caused the crash. an autopsy will be performed on the school bus driver to determine if any medical conditions may have been a factor. there were no kids on the school bus at the time but the driver of the transit bus and four passengers on board were so 10 others were taken to the hospital. a judge is now deciding whether to grant sal de macy early release from prison. five years ago a jury convicted him of corruption. a judge sentenced him to 8 years in prison. since then he's been diagnosed with throat cancer but his cancer is in remission. his attorney is asking a federal judge for a compassionate release. the judge says he's worried letting him out early would show preferential

turn the clocks back 2:00 a.m. sunday, maybe a flurry or sprinkle sunday but not a big issue there. quiet for the start of next week. great news for election day. daniel, this is not koolio, this is bad. this is the chopper over the scene of a back-up from an accident on 95 north in sharon. the cars at that accident have been moved to the left and right but the damage is done. this back-up goes all the way past 495, so you should expect delays. 128 north is bogged down from an accident at great plain avenue. that back-up is down to deadham and it's effecting the top of 95 north. the moral of the story stay away from 95 north. route 1 is a good alternative. new details out of iowa this morning two police officers shot and killed in ambush-style attacks. we've learned both of the officers were sitting in their patrol cars when they were shot. the shootings happened
