police are trying to figure out what happened. a man in a white mercedes suv hit a woman and her dog before 8:30 this morning. there is no crosswalk at the location. the woman was taken to the hospital and police would not release the condition of the dog. the mother of u. massamherst student is filing a lawsuit saying that the umass police knew her son was on drugs but did not tell her. eric s nirks inacori is also suing a police officer and the man accused of selling her son drugs. patriots's day starring mark wahlberg has the coveted closing night slot at the american film institute festival in los angeles.
