what the polls were saying. but what factors are you looking at to give us an indication of what might happen? >> i don't know. all i really want to do is take a nap. >> go ahead and lie down and fall asleep. when you wake up, we'll tell you who won. >> we need a nap. and polls are great, david, but no substitute for the vote. and i am watching closely the early voting stats showing democratic turnouts beating republican turnouts in swing states like va and signs of record hispanic voter turnout to help the democrats. but republican turnout is strong in ohio and the democratic edge in north carolina's early voting is way off from 4 years ago. keep in mind. donald trump probably needs to win all of those states i just mentioned. or most of them, and another stat i have been keeping an eye on, president obama's job approval rating up to 56% in

july of 2009. and given how closely clinton has embraced obama and how aggressively he is campaigning for her, that is a good sign for the democrats and a bad sign for trump, and one very intangible but significant factor i am watching, the body language and tone of the candidates as they make their final rounds. give trump credit. as he kept up the broughtal pace and is talking more about the prospect of losing and that's not good. the positive elements have taken a back seat to negative attacks on his opponents, and clinton is doing her share of attacking but with surrogates handling much of that for sure and she has been able to pivot to a more positive message.

rebound for election day. we'll stay in the low 30s, a chilly one, in the 20s from taunton, norwood, pittsburgh and boston, 36. rockport down to 30 and frost on the ground by tomorrow morning. once we get past the cold start, we'll warm up nicely, 40 at 8:00 a.m. and 50s at lunchtime and 60 greases through tomorrow afternoon. so a mild dry day and no weather excuser out to vote. we are just mainly about 60 degrees and about a 40-degree swing for some towns. and weather, not a big factor coast to coast. a few showers in the south central united states but shoreline to shoreline, temps above average and no big storms brewing anywhere for the country. as we take a look at wednesday, our next chance for rain and will bring in cloud cover and a few showers for wednesday and hopefully, up to a quarter inch

towards thursday and we're in an active weather pattern where each day is different. today, chilly and tomorrow, warmer. friday, we will warm up again and then a big hold shot for saturday. most of friday should be fine, well in the 50s. but friday night into saturday, the wind will pick up and a colder air mass will drop in, and we might see a few flurries on saturday. then we will be back to the warmer air on and that will get us back in the 50s. a look at the temperature trends, the average high, 54 this time of year and we'll dodge on either side of that. overall, it will be typical november weather. here is the accu-weather 7 day, low 50s on thursday and upper 50s for veteran's day on friday and a slight chance of shower there is, a cold, gusty saturday and nice rebound for sunday, good news for patriots and sunday night football.
