take a look at margate, just beautiful out there, and if you're heading to the shore this weekend, it's going to be nice. temperatures still on the comfortable side, but very perfect out there. we're in the mid to upper 70s, mid70s for our new jersey neighborhoods, many of our pennsylvania suburbs, lehigh valley upper 70s. newark coming in at 76 as well as middletown, smyrna 76. and much of sussex county, middle 70s here. dewey beach coming in at 69 degrees with more of an onshore winds. center city skyline nice and sunny, by 6:00 p.m. 75 degrees and dry, if you're heading out now i 67 degrees. so tonight going to be a perfect night to get outside.

we're nice and dry locally, but if we take a much wider view, way off to our west, that will be moving in for the second half of the weekend, we could see some showers as early as about sunday morning, but i think most of it will be hire later into sunday and possibly lingering into most of our monday. tonight, nice and dry saturday, it will be a mostly dry day, then we go into sunday morning, that's 8:30 sunday morning. more clouds when you wake up sunday. there's a chance we could have some showers north and west of philadelphia for the early morning hours, then we should see another round of rain trying to move in in the afternoon. i don't think everyone is going to see that in the afternoon. then we go into monday and i think we'll still see some rain lingering, starting off your monday morning, so make sure you have the umbrella, and we could be seeing that for the majority of monday. here's how your weekend is going

we continue to follow this breaking news, a dead whale has washed up on the jersey shore. there it is right there in the middle of your screen. this is near 22nd street at sea isle city. you can see there was a crowd gathered there. we're told that the director of the marine mammal stranding center was also at the scene. we have a crew headed to the scene, we'll continue to bring you updates as we get more information. also tonight, justice could be on the who rihorizon for a y girl killed in camden county. >> she was only 8 years old. police have been pleading for more than three weeks for information in this case and now they have made an arrest that could bring them closer to her killer. nbc 10's drew smith has the details. >> reporter: camden county police chief tell us they have a
