battle ground state of pennsylvania once again tonight. donald trump here tonight for the second time in a week, hillary clinton stopped here on monday. nbc 10's lauren mayk is joining us from ashston, delaware county. do we know what trump will focus on during his rally tonight? >> reporter: earlier today he did mention what happened in charlotte last night. and he spent quite a bit of time talking about that during his stop in pittsburgh today. right here behind me, you can hear they're whipping up the crowd here, this is his rally at ashton and this room is filling up. i'm told they gave out about 10,000 tickets and as you can see, it is pretty full in here. but this crowd does have about another hour to wait before donald trump himself takes that podium. however, as you mentioned, he is in philadelphia. check out where he stopped earlier today, that is cheese steak landmark gino's in south phil.

commands and she opened fire when he began to each into his car window. but police say that crutcher did not have a gun on him or in his vehicle. now to the unrest in north carolina tonight the family of the charlotte man killed by police are demanding the truth. about two hours ago, keith lamont scott's family attorney appeared on camera. >> reporter: within the last hour, we have learned that the protester shot during last night's riots in charlotte has died. now this all comes as the family of keith lamont scott says they will watch that police video of his shooting a little bit later on this evening. north carolina's governor has declared a stay emergency in charlotte after a second night of unrest. troops from the north carolina national guard arrived in charlotte early this morning. today the city district attorney

is calling for the state to investigate tuesday's shooting that killed scott. police say scott refused officers repeated commands to drop his gun. but residents say he was unarmed, holding only a book. today the family's attorney said that scott's wife witnessed the shooting, nshe is now calling fr peace in the wake of her husband's death. >> we ask for calm here in charlotte, we don't want to see people getting hurt, we want you to voice your opinions, but we don't want you to destroy the very community that you in. >> as i mentioned, the family does plan to watch the video of that police shooting later on tonight. but the police chief says that video will not be immediately released to the public. nbc nightly news we'll have a live report on the unrest in charlotte, "nightly news" begins at 6:30 right after this broadcast.

new jersey, police revealed they have not questioned rahami because he is unconscious and intuba intubated. today nbc 10 learned rahami bought the gun he used in the shoot-out in virginia when he visited his younger brother. meanwhile rahami's wife arrived to be questioned as a witness not a suspect. a delaware teenager says she killed his father because he skipped school and his dad would have been angry with him. he used a cross bow to shoot his father in their kent county home in 2014. the 19-year-old was charged as an adult. sentencing is set for november. a little old bridge is causing big new problems in one part of delaware. lots of people use the fifth street bridge. but that bridge is now being rebuilt. some businesses like this crap
