seconds before police opened fire. tonight the scott family released the video of the deadly police shooting, a shooting that has prompted outrage and violent protests in charlotte, north carolina, the shooting happened tuesday and the family tells us why it released this video now. >> reporter: it was recorded by the wife of keith lamont scott, a black man gunned down earlier this week, the scott family decided to release the footage in the name of truth and transparency, the video begins with her pleading with police officers not to shoot her husband, we watch to warn you, this video is extremely tough to watch at times. >> he doesn't have a gun, he has a tbi, he's not going to anything to you guys, he just took his medicine. >> you just heard her saying that scott has a tbi, or traumatic brain injury. you also hear officers telling him to drop the gun, but it's

not clear if he had a weapon or the circumstances leading up to the shooting, what they were. the footage does not show the exact moment scott was shot by police, but you can hear it. >> keith, don't you do it. [ gunshots. >> police have said scott had a gun, witnesses said he only had a book. and the scott family released a about the release of the video, the statement encourages no judgment until all the facts are known peace in charlotte. so south jersey now, a camden now, now charged in the death of 8-year-old gabby carter. investigators tracked him down to clarksville, tennessee.

he is the first to be charged in the murder, but from tips from the community, police had to piece the story together because of witnesses lies. >> reporter: i can tell you that tomorrow marks one month since the shooting that took young gabby hill-carter's life, the family, we can tell you has already moved out of the home beside the alleyway where it happened and investigators tell us today's murder arrest is one of more to come. >> this is not a moment of celebration. >> reporter: instead the arrest of 18-year-old tyhan brown investigators say should put others who pulled the tiger in a gang related shoot-out that put 8-year-old gabby on notice. >> they have been hiding under a rock for the last month. and it's only a matter of time before we flip that rock over. >> reporter: and it was the

can of beer shortly after the murder on tuesday morning. natasha gibson was found dead on the front steps of a friend's house and her throat was slashed. police first named her boyfriend has as as a person of interest but that's no longer the case. a new poll shows democrat hillary clinton with a 7-point lead over republican donald trump. the mcclatchey/maris poll says clinton had 48% of adults nationally, compared to 41% for trump. clinton also maintained her lead in a four-way matchup, including the green and libertarian candidates. former republican presidential candidate ted cruz says he will vote for donald trump. >> vote for candidates up and

down the ticket. >> the crowd booed the senator loudly when he failed to endorse trump during a prime time speech. now today on facebook, he says he will vote for donald trump after all. he said a year ago i pledged to vote for the republican nominee and i intend to do so. donald trump says he's greatly honored by cruz's endorsement. and the police union is denouncing -- >> a philadelphia organization that represents officers of color wants the city's police union is take a stand against the national fraternal order of police and it's backing of donald trump for president. but the local president tells us they must follow the fop agenda.

declaring her vote for hillary clinton, the president of the philadelphia guardian civic league, also spoke out against donald trump, the league that represents african-american, latino and asian police officers is denouncing the donald trump endorsement by the national fraternal order of police. >> if you want to be president of the united states, one of the things you meet to be doing is bringing the community together. >> would you call him a racist? >> everything that i have read and see in reference to trump and everything that he stands for, because i have never seen him stand for people of color, ever. >> standing with the league's president, our local state represent toivs who insist trump is the wrong choice. by phone i reached out to the national fop for reactions to the comments today, but did not receive a call back. when the union endorsed trump last week, they said we need a

neighborhood forecast. 85 degrees right now, notice we're seeing a few extra clouds and by 10:00 p.m., we could see a few scattered showers. we do have that frontal boundary sliding on down, so cooler temperatures headed our way by saturday and sunday, perhaps one or two scattered showers. so tomorrow morning, it looks like we play see some scattered showers moving from the northwest to the southeast. certainly not much going on, and really this weekend, the story is all about colder air sliding in, and chilly overnight temperatures, lots of 40s in the forecast. future temperatures starting right now into the 80s. into tomorrow, i notice we're seeing 70s, 50s really by about 7:00 a.m. into the evening hours, that's the expected high temperatures. we drop 10 to 16 degrees within a matter of hours. get those jackets handy, and

early sunday morning seeing lots of 40s. eagles versus steelers, sunshine not an issue, high pressure system keeping everything pretty much sunny, high and dry, and we'll see lots of sunshine, 70 degrees by the end of the game, mid to upper 60s, so your 10-day on 10. we do have these cooler temperatures sliding down by tomorrow. lots of mid to upper 80s, about 15 degrees above normal for this time of year, sunday into monday, a cool start monday morning, high temperatures in the low 70s, mid 70s by tuesday into wednesday. but then the next big weather story would be the potential for some showers, sometime between wednesday, late tusz into thursday, so of course i'm tracking that for you, and if you follow us on social media,
