1995 that, quote, could have allowed him to legally avoid paying any federal income taxes for up to 18 years. we went to villanova professor to find out how the provision called a net operating loss works. >> for instance, if i sold a building that i owned in 1995 at a loss of $5,000, and then in 1996, i sold another property at a gain for $5,000, then that operating loss would allow me to use that loss from the first year to offset the gain in the second year. >> reporter: the republican nominee has a fiduciary responsible to his business and family and employees to not pay more than legally required, and trump has paid hundreds of fls -- dollars in taxes over the years. >> we're in for more candidate visits next year. hillary clinton will be here on tuesday. tim kaine will be there the next day, on wednesday. donald trump has been in this

now to breaking news. the philadelphia orchestra strike is now over. nbc 10 was told minutes ago the musicians have ratified a new contract. on friday, who should have been opening night, orchestra members put down their instruments and picked up picket signs. the labor union voted to strike as pay negotiations soured with orchestra leadership. the orchestra will now perform their concert set for this thursday night. a possible break in the case for a missing lehigh valley woman. pennsylvania state police searched the property of michael, who worked with 42-year-old holly grim. she disappeared from her home three years ago. grim's neighbors reacted to the latest development. >> and every now and then, i see a little bit of a story. >> you wonder how something like that happens because you'd think somebody would see it. >> police have not said if any evidence linked to the case has been recovered from the

scattered showers early. tuesday, scattered showers but not a washout. look for your local neighborhood forecast on the bottom of your screen. we are seeing developing fog. satellite and radar image picking up on greens to the west. this will be headed our way, but certainly not going to be a washout. and not as bad for tomorrow morning. not as bad as we have been seeing. hour by hour starting at 6:00 p.m. were seeing breaks in the clouds. the greens approaching from west to east. not a total washout, but kent county tomorrow morning, looks like you will see scattered showers. later tomorrow evening, you will see some passing showers moving offshore. perhaps isolated thunderstorms for parts of the shoreline. hour by hour also picking up on scattered showers early on tuesday morning. if you look at the bottom of your screen, you'll see the extended forecast. hurricane matthew, it is a category 4. wind speeds, 145 miles per hour. it is all about how will it affect us here in the states?
