fires back after president trump tweet tirade. this morning a series of tweets. now, here's the back and forth. senator bob corker begged me to endorse him for re-election in tennessee, i said no. he dropped out said he could not win without my endorsement. he also said he wanted to be sent of state, i said no thanks, he is responsible for the horrendous iran death. i expeblg pekt him to be a negative voice and didn't have the guts to run. well, corker quickly responded it's a shame the white house has become an adult daycare center. someone obviously missed their shift this morning. well, two families are out of their homes after a fire tore through several homes this morning in the city's homes burg neighborhood. flames were jumping from the roof when firefighters arrived just after 1:00.

therapy dogs are on their way from south jersey to las vegas tonight. nbc 10 laura reports from cherry hill. >> reporter: these dogs are heading to las vegas. and there is a reason they are going now one week after the shooting. they are going to provide some stress relieve and a little decompression for people dealing with the emotions of an intense experience. . meeting up for the trip is a quiet bunch in haul shapes and sizes. no barking here from this group with a solemn mission. and tendency to cuddle to the side of you and lean up. the dogs are used to finding those who might need it. among those heading out a four-year-old rottweiler named gunther. handler is former new jersey john hunt. did you ever have any experiences when you were in the state police where you interacted with a therapy animal? >> never. >> reporter: did you have experiences where it might have

helped? >> absolutely. >> reporter: goal of this trip to help first responders and anyone else who might need comfort. >> a lot of times people start petting the dog. >> reporter: they have traveled to the scene of tragedy before deploying to orlando after the shooting. on this trip they'll stay at the mandalay bay the police say the shot man shot down on the 32nd floor. this group hoping to bring sol last to the staff. 16 and handler head out for this mission and say the dogs take the need for those needing comfort. in las vegas tonight and they might get right to work. there is a vigil tonight. and if the dogs are up for it after this long flight, they'll go see where they are needed. in cherry hill i'm lauren. nbc 10 news. a little bit of rain did not stop neighbors for coming out in full force to support puerto

philadelphia. and despite all the cloud cover. and in delaware that's been the warmest spot. wilmington is 81. odessa 81 degrees father to the south. lots of places 80. all these places, even the beach at 80 degrees. where are those temperatures a few weeks ago? here we were 84 yesterday. 81 today. near 80 tomorrow. and then back up again on tuesday. and then we are headed back to normal. so we have a few more days of unseasonal warmth. we also have some rain on the way to some sprinkles up here now but some of the rain from nate coming in our direction. and we do need it. we have gone two and a half weeks without any measurable rain. here we are overnight tonight and into first thing tomorrow morning. may not be that wet, but that rain is coming. and there is going to be a

period tv some heavy rain, maybe even thunder storm late morning and in toward the midday hours. 1:00, and that may be the end of the heaviest rain. lingering showers during the afternoon. if we get any peeks of sunshine, we get to 80 degrees again. thn then on tuesday we are dry and warm. you saw 84 degrees, warm northwest wind. and then the winds start shifting as we go into wednesday. and that's going to bring the cooler air in. it's going to bring moisture in from the ocean, and make the second half of the week drastically different from the first. so go through tonight we have showers, maybe even a thunderstorm developing, very mild and humid night. tomorrow morning is warm and humid. may not be raining when you get up but take your umbrellas because it will be raining, and especially later on during the
