with, we see a little bit of denver. that's the storm in its infancy. you can see it circled there. it has a future. overview. you can see the idea of the timeline. afternoon. saturday night, and first thing on sunday, that's the time to watch, the potential of snow and what's still critical is how far north the storm will track. if it takes a truck a little further north, this is not the most likely scenario, that's a closer pass and we have a greater potential for heavy snow and also the winds would be even stronger but if it takes a path more to the east which keys it further south then we're only on the northern edge of the snow around boston, so we don't get as much snow. not quite as much wind but we can still get a good deal of wind even without getting that much snow because the storm will be pretty potent. here's how it gathers the moisture in the gulf and the snow area. that's 3:30 friday afternoon so it will get into washington

midnight in philadelphia, by dawn in new york, and then it's going to have a struggle to get much further north than that that's where the ball game will be played. this time we're on the edge. it's an easier forecast in a general sense for washington. they are going to have major snowstorm but for us, look at saturday afternoon. know around southern connecticut. begins to lift northward during saturday afternoon. but how far north does it get? before it then retreats to the east. that's where the game will be played? right now my thinking is north of the mass pike, smallest amount of snow, possibly very little if any. then you may get a little sout of the pike but the greatest chance of getting some meaningful snowfall accumulation as of right now would be from hartford to providence, to marshfield, from there south, the greatest chance i would say right now of getting a few to several inches. if the track lifts northward then it could be more significant than that. if it stays where it is, or where it appears to be or even

get shifted further south. so that's where we are right now. you can see where the heavy snows will be. nation's capitol is involved and that's why there is a blizzard watch in effect for them. it will be a big snowstorm for them. no two ways about it. for us, we still have some wind gusts that are pretty impressive. impressive enough so that it would be windy on saturday because we now get a northeast bend with the storm. what i wanted to show you, look at the wind gust to 40 on block island. we still get significant wind with this. especially the coast, south coast and cape, so we'll watch places like plymouth and chatham. the most critical high tide is the one around 11:00 a.m. on sunday. that's when we would have the biggest amount of water. let's check out the next seven days. quiet until then. breezy and cold tomorrow. saturday afternoon, saturday night and early sunday, the heaviest snow would be south of boston potentially, wind on the coast.
