you can look at the trees behind me. the limb was massive. obviously, this is not the ending that any of us were praying for. they heard a crack. my brother screamed. he saw her under the tree. mary it happened in a heart beak. the 6-year-old rushed outside with her father to shove the driveway. >> she was running out. oh, daddy, let's make a snowman. then the next thing i know, a tree broke. mary. the limb gave way, crashing down, pinning her. >> that happened, fell right here. she was about right like that area. mary: they worked to lift the massive branch. the neighbors called for an ambulance. had pulse by the time they came. she didn't when they were first hit. the neighbors helped, thanked two. mary: cailey was transported to boston but shortly before 7:00 p.m., the little girl with a sweet demeanor died of her injuries.

on until late tomorrow night. utility crews fanned out across the suburbs trying to restore power to tens of thousands still in the dark. >> poles split in half and laying all over the wires. our wires were down. what a mess. john: tommed trees cut power to the town of weston in the storm. >> i have plenty of candles. john. they were ready with logs stacked out back. we got a fire going in the fireplace. >> this is make-or-break for some come tins. john: no television tonight. they got a big screen view of the out the fnt picture win tow. in canton, live wires came down. further down 138, dozens of businesses had to close for the night uncertain of when the lights will come back on. again, so many without power tonight. going to be a long 24 hours before the power is restored.
