under investigation in woburn. five investigates has learned this little boy rushed from his babysitter's apartment has died. and his twin sister is still hospitalized. the question now -- what happened? sera congi joins us with the latest from woburn. sera: erika, what happened to the two children here in this woburn apartment is still a mystery. we know both the da's office and the department of children and families are investigating. pkg a fractured skull and other injuries, when he was in this woburn apartment under the care of a longtime family friend. an ambulance was called here monday afternoon, taking noah and his twin sister, who was also hurt to the hospital. >> no comments. sera: a woman behind the door of the apartment, only saying no comment. last night noah died from his injuries. a sign outside his family's home reads, the family would like to thank you all for your love, support, kind words and prayers. at this time the family would appreciate their privacy to be

the woman was in the front of the car and everybody was telling her, and she was still trying to go. so, she knew they were there. erika: police tracked down the driver in a nearby building. the victims all suffered non life-threatening injuries. heather: new this noon, police in siesta key, florida releasing the 911 calls from a framingham woman allegedly stabbed by her teenage son while on vacation. 16-year-old gust ramgren is charged with attempted murder, accused of stabbing his mother and 14-year-old brother. melissa ramgren is a teacher in newton. she called 911 while suffering >> oh, my god, i don't know what happened. i was watching tv. what happened to him? please, we're going to die, my son is going to die. he stabbed my son and he came in and stabbed me. and he never stopped. he just kept stabbing. heather: gust ramgren remains in custody. his mother and brother still in

the aaron hernandez defense. the state supreme judicial court has ruled that attorneys for the former patriots star no longer need one of hernandez's cell phones. the lawyers were holding on to it and prosecutors were previously denied a chance to examine the phone. this court ruling clears the way for prosecutors to get a search warrant for the phone's contents. hernandez is awaiting trial for shooting and killing two men in the south end. he's already serving a life sentence for the murder of his one-time friend odin lloyd. heather: 5 investigates tonight log tens of thousands of underground natural gas leaks, and you're paying for them. this narrow pipe near north station has been venting natural gas into the air for the past 9 months. the source? a leak from the 100-year-old pipe under the street. >> i would think if i were to protect the citizens of boston i would do whatever i had to do and i would do it immediately. >> tonight on newscenter 5 at 5:00, 5 investigates reveals just how extensive this problem

>> 5 on the opioid crisis, a new approach to curb drug use near south station, remove the benches. last year, boston and mbta police noticed that atlantic avenue was a hub for drug activity, likely because people could loiter on the benches. those benches were removed, and more officers added. police say since then, drug activity has plunged in that area. >> the animal rescue league of boston wants to know who put this cockatoo in the garbage. the bird, now named mayfield, was found in its cage in the trash on norfolk street in dorchester. we're told mayfield is doing much better now. >> breaking news out of the olympics, american swimmer ryan lochte apologizes. what he said about his behavior in rio. >> it is an event for people of all ages all the time. why one family says they are dangerous and have gone to court.
