ed: a high school teacher facing domestic assault charges and allowed to return to work in the classroom. >> new at 6:00, we find out why. this all happened in wilmington. reporter: the teacher arrested was back at school today and that was definitely the talk of the school. especially on social media where some are angry he was allowed back to school so soon. >> i always thought he was a good guy. most kids like him because he came off as a good students are baffled over the arrest of a well-liked gym teacher. according to the report he was arrested on september 11th at home after a fight that sent his wife to the hospital. the report said he grabbed her by the back of the head and smashed her face into the door frame. she suffered a broken nose and other injuries. >> it is alt concerning -- it is a little concerning if he is having trouble with anger

family. this is alex and he spent the summer interning here. he was killed in an early morning crash in vermont. he crashed his jeep into a pole where he attended lemon state university as a college student. they say speed appears to be a factor in the crash. alex was 21 years old and really a standout intern with a passion for journalism. he truly made an impression on every single one of us. the seat i am sitting in right here. i remember the day i -- he took it with you. >> and he was so passionate. he was scheduled to work and he did work on his 21st birthday. >> you know what i love the best? he was going at you about some bruins knowledge. >> that is true.

parade to highlight the dangers of drink driving. the kids say they weren't drinking. ed: and the police are backing them up. now more on the controversy and the apology. >> i just wanted everyone to know that we weren't drunk driving. reporter: from her hospital bed at umass memorial 18-year-old marley has 30 broken bones. she was a passenger in a car crash 10 days ago. the wreck was over the and hauled out of the tow yard and paraded around with a don't drink and drive message. as friends recognized the car during the hudson parade, the victim and her sober, but injured boyfriend who was behind the wheel were mortified. >> she is devastated. she's like why are people saying this? we don't drink. >> it is very hurtful.

saying he was drinking and calling him names. >> the 18-year-old driver treated and released from the hospital faces an operating toen -- 20 endanger and speeding charges, but alcohol had nothing to do with it. >> we were not targeting anybody. it is a misunderstanding. to be honest we feel awful. reporter: the president of countryside towing feeling the wrath of police and victims is today tearful and telling us -- >> i didn't know anybody was in the hospital and i didn't know there was alcohol. we were trying to send a message not to drink and drive. >> wrecks on parade are a public service. but this time they marked up and degraded somebody else's property and reputation. countryside towing's facebook page said if we knew it was a local hudson family we never we have used this vehicle.

once the sun comes out this air mass can move in and that is warming us up for tomorrow. we will start out in the 60s early tomorrow and then most of us will move well into the 80s. places like lowell and bedford and framingham. also you can say bridgewater and brockton and taunton low to mid80s. you can have clouds in the morning and they will take awhile t patriots and the texans are coming up on thursday night in the 60s after being in the 80s around mid-afternoon. the humidity though shouldn't be a big problem. there is tropical storm carl which will make its closest path to bermuda. and a new tropical depression is farther out in the atlantic. that will find r wind up in the central atlantic. there is your weather. notice the 80s showing up.
