the radar. we have rain moving in just in time for the weekend. meterologist kelly ann cicalese is tracking the showers. present at, welcome to newscenter 5. kelly ann: thank you so much, doug. glad to be here. and on my first day here, tracking a shower, a heavy swathe of moisture to the west. look to our south? that is bringing rain fall for later this evening. after sunset the possibility of downpours and even tracking into the area as well. that is the main concern as we head into the forecast. we will also talk about temperature changes as well, and that as we head into the weekend. future cast showing the showers start to fill in as they push into the west. we have those downpours, spot flooding for later this evening and a few late-night rumbles through the overnight hours.

we learned more about what happened and the suspect who is a known gang member to police who goes by another name. during the arraignment, take a look. 19-year-old christian garcia was out of sight in the courtroom, but we did get to see him last night as he was taken into custody by chelsea police. he allegedly opened street friday and one of the bullets struck 13-year-old juan lopez, who was watching tv in his bedroom in a nearby building. he was struck in the shoulder. he is expected to recover. prosecutors say the bullets were recovered in the wall of the bedroom and the boy's pillow. garcia is being held on $100,000 bail.

responsible for fighting her. doug: condon-frieden was taken to a local hospital to be checked out. but police say she is ok. it's not clear how she ended up in the swamp which is not far from ivy lane where she was last scene. -- where she was last seen. antoinette: a bicyclist is seriously hurt after a collision with a tow truck in worcester. this happened just after 11:00 last night on southbridge street. police say no charges have been filed at this time. the telegram reports it appears the man rode his bike into the back of the truck. doug: also this noon -- this man under arrest. state police say he drove for miles on 93 in new hampshire going the wrong way. 34-year-old michael drake arrested around 2:30 a.m. this morning near canterbury driving south in the northbound lanes. state police charged him with dwi. antoinette: a boarding school in groton is asking people to come forward if they have information about sexual misconduct at the school. lawrence academy is the latest in a string of schools asking students and alumni to report
