a flood advisory. a flooded by for connecticut and rhode island. a flash flood warning for parts of connecticut. we have seen two inches of rainfall in some areas. this has been expanded northward. it is primarily focused along 49 5. it's not a big river issue. it's the streets. if you put rain down in a small area, you get the rain. plumes of moisture working their way to the south. those are heavy downpours. but there isn't much going on right now. hopefully it will be lined up to get some beneficial rain out of the whole thing. it will continue to lift northward. we will see some more over the next hour or so. it will push north at about 30

at least four men were working on dartmouth street when the water main break happened. two jumped out. >> a lot of guys were running. they pulled one of the workers out. nicole: two more trapped. witnesses say the result of time. the trench and nearby streets quickly flooding. >> the water was rushing, gushing, gushing and they were screaming that someone was down there. nicole: as the crews arrived time passed, the rescue became her. >> they were bringing the trench across to make sure that it was safe. it was a long, drawnout effort. nicole: workers who tried to save their friends visibly shaken. >> i saw the looks on their faces and they look have a stated. nicole: their identities have not been released.
