in the car were taken to the hospital. non-serious injuries. witnesses that we talked to saw that car speeding up grove. it did not appear to take any brakes, slammed into the wall. two people again were inside. a male driver and woman passenger. the man got out on his own but the woman appeared stuck inside. take a listen to what one witness described happened. >> the guy got out and wobbled a little and another pedestrian had set him on the ground. i'm surprised that they survived, because, that was, they were going fast. 70 miles per hour coming down from that end. >> the entire front ebbed of that vehicle was underneath that pile of bricks, so as this tow truck removes that vehicle, of course, they have to do it gingerly to make sure that pile of bricks doesn't come tumbling down this.

mask pulled up halfway over his face. he was riding a mountain book. he was taking off towards salem. live in marblehead, wcvb, newscenter 5. >> new at 5:00, an east bridgewater high school senior has been accused of raping a 14-year-old girl. the enterprise reports that 18-year-old david was arrested yesterday and pled not guilty this morning. the victim's name is not being released, but police say she is the same girl who was raped by a level t offender in a whitman cemetery october 17. the suspect in that case, 31-year-old charles love joy is now back in police custody. new at 5:00, a woman missing since sunday has been found alive. the woman, who suffers from dementia and parkinson's, was found underneath a boat off pleasant street. she was able to speak when dracut firefighters found her this morning. she's being treated at a lowell hospital for exposure.

jail for killing a man on a bike path nearly two years ago. stephen pled guilty this morning and was sentenced to a minimum of 28 years in prison. he admitted punching and killing benjamin mark um who was targeted for a robbery. in court today the victim's sister spoke about her loss. >> -- will haunt me rest of my life. i can feel my brother's pain. >> the suspect accused of stabbing markum during the attack goes on trial next year. >> outrage in mississippi tonight after claims a white student threw a noose around the neck of a black classmate. the student has been disciplined but the school district is not saying much else. >> families at stone high school in wiggins, mississippi, are furious, after hearing a white football player put a noose

and that's chilly air over warm ocean so that may produce some loud and prevent the temperature for bottoming out. we'll see how it works out but for most of us clearly a chilly night and chilly air mass with 46. wind is still out of the northwest. 37 right now. that's pretty indicative of the fact that it's a chilly air mass, and this is the parts of our state, massachusetts, that's going to get a period of snow for tomorrow afternoon. low temperatures to expect tonight. another chilly will really be achieved late in the day or at night. it will start out a lot chillier than that. 38 -- it won't be until the evening hours. that's why during the afternoon it could be cold enough for appeared of snow. the system i'm talking about is in the midwest. rains passing through michigan. by the way, for the world series one strip of rain is north of cleveland and hopefully they will get the game in before more rain moves in there. now, also keeping an eye on the

front. the leading edge of warmer air. we won't get into the real warm air here but as it approaches it increases the precipitation and so i do expect a healthy amount here of rain in eastern massachusetts. when it finally gets here. it's not a problem for the morning commute in our area, by time we get to midday and into the afternoon, that's when we have the snow breaking out in the berkshires, and maybe even as far east as the worcester hills area of n snow before flipping to rain. the entire system will be winding down on friday morning. here's a closer look. you see some ocean cloud. maybe a sprinkle in a few coastal communities. otherwise, clouds thicken from the west. band of snow tomorrow afternoon. breaking out in northwest connecticut and the berkshires. otherwise, the mountains of

tomorrow night and overnight and the heaviest rains ending during the friday morning commute. residual showers on friday. a lot of clouds hanging around friday as well. a weak bash lack. where could there be some snow accumulations? some flakes are possible. maybe one or two inches around parts of the berkshires. but it's the mountains of maine, i believe, that are really going to get significant snows here. we could be talking a solid six to 12 in the higher mountains of western maine out of this. rainfall an inch around our region or a little more. something we need. >> we have some wind gusts coming here around the cape overnight tomorrow night and into the day on friday. maybe 40 miles per hour or greater. otherwise, we're improving on saturday. maybe some clouds. a few showers have possible saturday night and early sunday but i don't see too much rain for this upcoming weekend but die for later tomorrow into early friday. see you in the next half-hour. back to you. >> thank you. in your health, kid and cholesterol, the new research
